I heard about Regen Revolution on the Mandy Connell show and thought I'd give a try before I had any invasive surgeries on my knees. I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel it's important to share my experience so others can make an informed decision. I went to this practice hoping to find solutions for several health concerns, especially my knee pain. Initially, I felt optimistic and believed I was in good hands. Unfortunately, over time it became clear that little was actually being done to address one of the primary reasons I sought treatment. I also had a concerning experience with one of the supplements that was strongly recommended to me. After taking it, I became sick and reported it to the provider. Rather than showing concern or offering a refund, I was told I was only the second person who had become ill from the product and that they would stop recommending it. Given that acknowledgment, I expected some accountability, but no refund was ever offered. I would also encourage anyone considering the DME products sold through the office to do their own research first. Many of the same or comparable items are available through Amazon or FSA-approved retailers for significantly less money and, in my experience, are often better quality. My biggest frustration has been trying to obtain a refund for services and products that I believe were not appropriately handled. I first requested a refund nearly a year ago. In February, after my fourth request, I was told someone would look into it and call me within a few days. That call never came. I followed up again in July and was given the same promise, but I am still waiting for a response. Another issue was the lack of transparency regarding pricing. I was quoted one amount for treatment on my hands, but additional required expenses were never disclosed upfront. By the end of treatment, I had paid over $3,000 more than I expected based on the original quote. I found this lack of clear financial disclosure very disappointing. Overall, I felt there was a strong emphasis on selling supplements and medical products without fully explaining their necessity, costs, or the fact that many could be purchased elsewhere for much less. I spent a significant amount of money, became ill from a recommended supplement, paid for services I do not feel were properly delivered, and have been unable to obtain the refund I have repeatedly requested. This was an expensive lesson for me. I encourage anyone considering this practice to ask detailed questions about treatment plans, total costs, refund policies, and whether recommended products can be purchased elsewhere before making any financial commitments. I understand that no provider can guarantee results. My concerns are about communication, transparency, billing, product quality, and customer service. You stated that numerous efforts were made to address my concerns. That was not my experience. I repeatedly requested a refund over many months and was repeatedly told someone would "look into it" and call me back. Those calls never happened, and my concerns were never resolved. When a supplement recommended by your office made me sick, I was told I was only the second patient to experience that reaction and that the product would no longer be recommended. The ReBuilder device produced little to no sensation, even at the highest setting, while a similar device I later purchased through my FSA worked much better. My Anodyne red light device also failed and had to be sent directly to the manufacturer for repair. I also disagree with your statement that I received approximately $18,000 in additional treatment. Based on my records, I calculate the value to be closer to $9,891, and the only additional regenerative treatment I received was another dose of stem cells. I also stopped treatment before completing the plan and was not reimbursed for the unused portion. In addition, despite requesting that my chiropractic visits be billed through my insurance after confirming coverage, not all visits were submitted. I had hoped these concerns could be resolved privately, but after months of unanswered follow-up promises, that did not happen. Total scam artists - RUN AWAY. I chose this place because they provide Wharton's Jelly (stem cells) therapy for peripheral neuropathy. Quoted me $6000. When I showed up, they promised me relief only if I did their complete $14,000 program. It included a LOT of $$$ Voodoo "medicine." Absolutely nothing helped, they created back pain where I had never had any. Their "chiropractor" ignored every thing I told him. On my last visit, I chatted with another patient who had been doing their program for over 6 months, he said he had no relief whatsoever. My neuropathy is now WORSE, plus back pain now. These people prey on your pain and need for relief, but all they want is your $$$. I returned a piece of light-therapy equipment I hadn't used, for a refund, as research showed me it is useless. After months and months of fighting with the owner, getting credit card company involved, she FINALLY gave me a partial refund. Like pulling teeth. Have you ever attended a time share presentation? This is very similar, and in fact they use a lot of the same tactics. The website talks about all this free stuff you get as a first time patient, then you get in there, they get your a cup of water, tea, or coffee if you want it, and you start your 'journey' with an attractive model looking sales person. This person will ask you what's wrong and start going through the medical details, then they start into questions about how you think your life could be better if you were healthy, what you want to accomplish, what other people think about your health, etc. After 30min of that, they graze through the "flat fee" they're going to charge BEFORE they "call in a provider" to examine you and go through diagnostic plans. After all that, they will have you come back again to discuss a treatment plan. A treatment plan that, if you ask, they admit your insurance will not cover most of, even though the website clearly says most insurance plans cover their treatments. Sound like a time share sales pitch yet? And if you say you're not willing to spend all kinds of money when you have health insurance, they ask if there is anything else they can do for you. This is the point I laughed and walked out. With tactics like this, I no longer believe in or trust any of their claimed medicine. Edit - I will give this company credit in that the CEO gave me a call and wanted to work things out. Although there was in fact a place on the website that was very misleading, she advised it would be removed/changed. As well as the person that initially met with me would be re-trained to better match the goals of the clinic. I am a client of Downtown Healthcare for PRP. They are great. PRP is expensive ( not covered by insurance) and maybe not work for everyone but worth every penny if you have bad arthritis. 75-80% improvement. read more
