Went to see a movie in theater 7 today. In the past, the sound was way too loud (few years ago, so I stopped), but today, the sound was perfect. Plenty loud but not hurting my ears. The particular theater I was in not only had recliner-type chairs, but there was a swivel tray to put your popcorn bucket on. Also, it was as if rows were removed, and there were absolutely no heads or tops of chairs in view in front of me as I viewed the screen - nice. I'd definitely go back now with the better sound level. I do think the seats feel slightly narrower for wider bottoms. read more

I will never go here again and I would recommend you go somewh else. My husband and I had purchased tickets online. We were told to go find our seats. We sat down and when a gal came around to take our order, I asked her to double check our seats. She said we were fine where we were. Some other people showed up and she THEN told us we needed to move down. My husband made the comment that their app wasn't working and she was super snotty and said "That's not our app!" I asked her why she had to have such an attitude (we had already moved.) She was snotty and sarcastic towards me VERY LOUDLY in front of the whole theater of people. My husband paid for our order and we left without seeing the show or having anything that we paid for. The manager did nothing to make things right for us. On top of that the little brat worker sarcastically and disrespectfully yelled at me as I was leaving the theater "Happy Fourth of July!!!" That was after I made the comment "My husband is a five war Vet. I can't believe your disrespect." I couldn't believe the unwarranted treatment we received. Go somewhere better! read more

It's fairly new. At least this building is. Not sure when it opened, but they still need to get their duckies all lined up. I got here a little early - since it was my first time at this theater - so I had time to wait and observe. Purchase tickets? All electronic do it yourself kiosks. Inside: Nice big, open concessions area. A few electronic games on one side, otherwise just a big open space with nowhere to wait for friends. Suggestion: It would be nice to have a few tables & chairs in that open space. There was an info booth, but no one manning it. Countertop used by those 'waiting". The check in for tickets was weird. One elderly gentleman in a chair at a small table. They definitely are short staffed. read more

The last time I went to a movie was probably 10+ years ago! I don't really go see movies at all and, my gosh, my recent trip to see movies took me down memory lanes/childhood time remembering what I felt like as a kid going to see movies and buying things at concession stands. With all the time I never visited movies...it made me realize something about the movies that I saw this new time around. One, movie theatre had become less popular over time I supposed. There were no longer people at the ticket purchasing area and ticket purchase was all about self-service (via kiosks or mobile phone!). The movie that I saw "Cabrini" in the evening had less than 10 people seeing it. Things really did change...and it made me realize how much older I had gotten! Overall, it was ok. I enjoyed the movie..but the thing that bugged me the most was...the movie didn't start on time at all! It started probably 30 min after the stated time (and it was all ads/previews before the movie started!). I didn't realize how long those ads would be...but I honestly would appreciate if the ads were limited or the movie actually started on time (or maybe just 10 min late). It was a bit frustrating for me because my movie was around 2.5 hours long..but I ended up spending 3.5 hours at the theatre (30 min before the movie started, 30 min watching ads/preview..and finally 2.5 hrs actually watching the movie). Overall, good experience and I appreciated that even though the movie ended around half past nine at night, the parking lots were still lit and safe to walk to the cars at night. read more

I travel for work a lot and usually i like to treat myself to a movie in new cities especially if there's a 4dx option. I was excited to visit regal Winrock in abq on a cold night to watch avatar fire and ash in 4dx .... the moment i walked in the building for my 555 pm movie i was disgusted. Every where i turned was filthy. Bathroom disgusting dirty floors waste clogging multiple stalls and the walls so dusty people had literally wrote notes with their fingers in it the counters and floors at concessions were so sticky and cluttered with trash i didn't even bother to get popcorn and when i walked in to the theater more of the same trash on floors and in seats mystery sticky substances i literally put my coat in the seat as a barrier to sit on ..... movie hasn't even started and experience has been severely damaged if you go here bring your own Lysol wipes and sanitizer read more

I'm slowly becoming a bit of a movie nerd, and let me tell you--this theater has officially become my go-to spot in Albuquerque. I've been to several other theaters around the city, including some of the bigger chains, but this location just hits different. One of the best things about it is that it never feels overwhelmingly packed, which makes every visit feel a little more relaxed and enjoyable. It has all the amenities I could ask for, without the chaos of larger theaters like Century Rio. The food? Always fresh. I've never had a disappointing snack here. The drinks are consistently good too--never flat or watered down, which is something I've run into at other places. And can we talk about cleanliness? The bathrooms and theater spaces are always spotless. It's clear the staff takes pride in keeping the space comfortable and welcoming. read more

Miserable experience. Earsplitting sound volume- even when I removed my hearing aid. House lights remained on during previews, rendering much of the screen invisible. As for the movie (Hail Mary), the sound editing was incompetent: The background music track so loud the dialog could not be caught. Altogether painful. I like this theatre for the big screens and mediocre food options.... But it has a very loud fan in the back that makes for a lot of noise pollution for an area already next to the freeway. Should get this fixed because it sounds broken and awful around The Regal theatre. read more

I really enjoy the regal pass.But I recently discovered that I have been being charged for 3 passes when we only have two me and my wife. I have tried contacting customersupport@regal cinemas.com but received no reply. Unable to talk with anyone as there's no phone number where I can actually communicate with someone to find out what's going on. Worst theater experience ever- and i'm not young. 9:30 movie - get there at 9:15 and the place is locked up. No body answers the phone. Some how the doors are finally unlocked and folks started entering, so, we walked back to the theater and entered - no human in sight. Tried three helpie selfie Kiosks before we found one that would work for us to get tickets. Entered the 4dx theater to see FI the movie. Had to sit through 25 minutes of commercials before the movie started. Screen much dimmer and ill defined than my TV at home. Movie starts and then with a change to a racing scene, suddenly the theater seat starts violently jolting up and down - side to side with absolutely no reasonable correlation to what is going on in the movie. The 4dx experience was grossly distracting to the point that we would never return. Extremely uncomfortable and almost nauseating. For anyone wanting to see F1, I would recommend a regular theater with normal - non-moving seats. read more

It was my son's first time going to a movie and he was so excited. Major disappointment!! The volume was so loud that he couldn't stand to sit through the movie. Me and my husband took turns going out into the hall with him because it was hurting all of our ears. We paid 70.00 for the three of us just for the movie tickets alone and another 40.00 in concessions. We tried to roll up napkins to use as ear plugs and it was still unbearably loud. Terrible experience! We got the regular imax because we thought it would be safe for his first movie but ended up ruining his first movie experience and destroying our eardrums. read more

The movie was supposed to start at 440. It's now 510. This was a Christmas movie I'm taking my granddaughter to. She's 6. We've been to other movies and they start when it says they start. Now, she's antsy. This movie is 2 hours long. Now that we've been sitting here for half an hour watching commercial after commercial she wants to leave. I wasted 50 bucks for nothing. They don't have free refills either. We'll go to the tramway movies from now on. read more

Arrived for a special screening of Friday the 13th part 3 shown in 3d and from entering the doors the experience was AWFUL!!!!! The individual taking our concession order was rude and after we'd say each item we wanted he replied "is that it?" very abruptly. There was no food at the concession other than popcorn and nachos. All other food was a minimum 15 minute wait, this was after waiting in line for about 10 minutes. Mind you this is a Friday night before ballon fiesta is set to start and Taylor Swifts album release film was debuting the same night. After heading to the ticket taker he scans our ticket he tells us a different auditorium than what our tickets say. I question him and he again states a different number than my tickets. I say ok, and we head to the theater and upon entering we find our seat numbers do not exist in this specific theater. A staff member in the theater overhears us discussing the situation and tells us we have to head back to the food concession to correct the seat numbers. While trying to correct the seats the staff member states "you shouldnt have bought your tickets off Fandango because they make these mistakes". As if I'm supposed to be aware of this. I ask for new printed tickets just to ensure there are no other hiccups and was told that since my barcode ticket was scanned that's not possible. Finally we get back to the theater and after everything you'd expect that would've been enough........nope!!!! Apparently no one in the theater could see the film in 3d!!!!! Personally I had to close one eye the whole movie just to see! Lots of people left during the film and you could tell they were having issues with the 3d as well. They'd leave comeback and finally just leave all together. Then everyone that stayed said the same thing as they were leaving . Way to waste a lot of money and a Friday night. We will never return to this theater. The staff is rude, doesn't strive for quality customer service and expect patrons to know when they move around films without any assistance from staff at the ticket booth, which there were none. read more

I just currently attended freakier friday at Reagal Winrock, while I was watching the movie my chair broke. This was very upsetting and also very embarrassing. Mind you i way 120 pounds. I do not recommend the theatre. read more

We just wanted you o have a relaxing evening at the movies! Terrible experience with the manager, Ashley. We paid for concession with a 100 dollar bill. The cashier called Ashley to check the bill and she said she couldn't accept it. I asked her if she had a proper counterfeit detector and she said she did use it and it passed. I won't be returning to this location. The prices were outrageous even during the matinee hours and they don't even have the recliner chairs! I know that sounds ridiculous, but honestly, when nearly every other movie theater in town has the reclining chairs, I feel like it's just cheap for this location to not offer them. They don't show a lot of movies. When I went, there were 7 theatres playing Batman and only one of them was a regular cinema viewing, the rest was IMAX or 3D or whatever excuse they're using to charge outrageous prices for watching a movie nowadays. It was not enjoyable to pay so much and be so uncomfortable in my chair. read more

Saw Dungeons and Dragons. First time to experience RPX projection. Cool concept, however the right hand wall was running at a horribly stuttering 12ish frames per second, and gave me vertigo. Please make sure to do a technical review before exhibiting. The issue subverted some of the enjoyment of watching the movie whenever the additional screens we activated. read more

Rated R trailers were played during a Moana 2 showing we attended on November 27th, 2024. The content was graphic--people were exploding, getting their heads chopped off, stabbed, and shot. It was unreal. Parents were in shock. I left the theater with my child to speak to a manager, but he was unclear about what happened. He mentioned they might have accidentally played a Rated R movie in our theater, then walked off. I never saw him again. read more

It's hit or miss. Sometimes it's great to see a movie here but the biggest issue is they never have people that sell tickets in the front and then you have to wait in line and then you miss half your movie because everyone's so slow and not efficient and not organized. I don't know. I wish somebody could help him out so I could do things better so tickets in a better way I mean I would actually spend more money if I didn't have to wait almost a half an hour to an hour just to go through a line just to do tickets at the concession stand read more

I went for an AARP free preview movie. They were not prepared well for us. The previews kept repeating. We saw some, and AARP ads too, several times for over 10 minutes. Then the volume was soooo high at one point. We're old, not deaf. The movie finally started late and the 1/3 of the way in it just stopped. It took a few minutes for it to get going again. The concession prices are really high and the chairs were uncomfortable too. Not sure I will be back on my own dime. read more

Before the days of recliner chair cinemas and cinema restaurants and breweries, Regal was the local premier movie theater. Now it's okay but nothing special. Yes, they have IMAX and RPX but is it work it? No. We went to a early matinee screening of Avengers: Infinity Wars in the RPX theater at 2:50 pm today. The seats weren't very comfortable and cost us $14 each plus booking fees. Ouch! I am in a large knee brace for a torn meniscus so I would have much preferred a recliner but we had heard great things about the RPX theater and my husband wanted to see this movie really bad. The screen was really big - almost too big to see everything that was happening. The sound wasn't much better than a typical theater. My husband did get a pepperoni pizza and unwrapped Starbursts from concessions. It was a decent prices and he said the pizza was pretty good. But the food is better at Flix Brewhouse for the same prices and you don't have to stand in line to order there. Instead they bring the food to you plus the seats are more comfortable for a cheaper price. Overall, I wouldn't go back except for the fact that we have $12 left on our Regal gift card because my husband opted not to get popcorn. This is a very chill theater! Sometimes you do have the option to select your seats! Which is awesome because when you're purchasing your ticket online you can pick your seat and know that you'll get a good view of the screen! I do think this is one of those theaters on the more expensive side both ticket price and concession prices. However, & this is the reason I gave 4 stars... it's one of the few theaters that partners with the ATOM app. If you have T-Mobile and use the T-Mobile Tuesday's app then you'll generally get a $4-$5 ticket code to use on the Atom App and redeem on any movie at Winrocks regal theater. This obviously balances the prices of the concession stand. So overall great place to come watch the new movie releases! P.S. Murder on the Orient Express is officially one of the best movies ever and did the book justice! read more

Great customer service. No waiting. Close parking. Clean theater, clean restrooms, however out of 4 sinks in the restroom only one sink pump was filled with hand soap. I like that the seats are assigned and you get to chose where you sit. Nice comfortable seating too. read more

Great seats and easy to buy tickets on-line. Parking was a bit of a challenge but we eventually found a place. Loved that we could get wine to take into the theater with us. We just had popcorn but real food was available to order & take to your seat. It was rather bizarre that a lady chose to stand in the cordoned off area that formed the line & was talking to friends with no regard to the fact she was blocking the way of people who wanted to place a good order. Quite interesting that there are no directions re ordering & picking up food & beverages. Maybe they don't know about tourists & how diverse things can be in other areas (order at your seat, etc!) read more

Love the fact that you can get things like chicken sandwiches and nuggets here for theater food. That's awesome. Just leave time to get it fixed before your show. An extra 10 minutes should do it. Seats are awesome, the stadium type seating is also a big plus for me. And when I go with someone who needs it, it's really great to have the area for handicap seats on the main level. IMAX is worth a try, but not a necessity. I enjoyed seeing a movie there once and might do it again for something I'm really excited for, but not all the time. read more
