She bought tickets online for us and we headed there on the day. Parking in garage next to the theatre. Complimentary so that was nice. It's a two story theatre and there's a bar on the 2nd floor. Very interesting and modern style decor. We were there for a matinee so no bartender yet. Restrooms were clean. The theatre screening room we were in was split into two levels. Not connected. I guess if you bought the other seats you entered on the first floor. Only us and another patron so we selected different seats closer to the middle for better viewing. The seats do not recline and they smelled of old sweat which was yuck. And the tray next to me hadn't been cleaned out as I found some wrapping in the cup holder. Also yuck. But it was fine as we could change seats. Would have been bad if that was my seat tray. The sound was good and I could hear clearly. We had so much fun. Laughing and getting involved in the movie. When we left there was a bartender at the bar. We are going to come again. Will bring wet wipes next time but it's a pleasant experience anyways.

One of the cleanest and inviting Regal Cinemas in Denver. It used to be part of the Hollywood chain since signage is still in use. They have self service ticketing which took me a bit of time to use. They also have a live person to help out or sell the tickets. Most other Regals have you buy your ticket at the concession counter. This location had 2 floors for watching your movie. Some theaters have a balcony section of 2 rows, but most theaters are on the 1st floor. The 2nd floor has the Sky Box. A very nice looking bar and lounge area with access to the balcony sections. There is a $1 upcharge for the 2nd floor seats. There is an elevator and nice restrooms. I saw the movie "The Man called Otto" with Tom Hanks. A sad but moving film. Wonderful cat in the movie had a starring role.

Lights turning on throughout movie on purpose.

Ask the Community - Regal SouthGlenn

Can the arm rests of the theater go up? If so is it the below seating or the up above one?

No. They are locked in place because of the trays to hold food and drinks.

STEPH JUDGEMENT: Fun for special movie outings…read more We came to see Guillermo Del Toro's "Frankenstein" with our friends and it did not disappoint. We've been to the downtown LA one a couple of times and the drill was the same: You start by scanning the QR code and making the initial order, then during the movie you write down your order on the provided pad and pressing the service call button. You have 20 minutes after the movie ends to settle up your bill; after that they will close it out for you with 20% gratuity. We ordered: - Spicy ranch popcorn (spicy! It's a dry powder so I should've gotten some light butter on it to hold the powder to the popcorn--we kept accidentally inhaling it, doh) - Churro crunch popcorn (not too sweet, with slight salty notes that gave it a really nice touch) - Vegan cauliflower bites with celery and fries (the gochujang sauce was a little too sweet and the fries were limp--just meh) - I got a Pilsner, hubby got an IPA The food was just ok but the service and atmosphere were great. The seats weren't THE most comfortable recliners, as they didn't recline quite as much as the AMC chairs we were used to, but they were fine. One of the best things at these theaters is the 15-20 minute montage they show before the movie that's related to the feature--worth getting there early for. Some of the clips they included were really obscure and funny, like the one from the 1960s where Frankenstein goes to college and becomes a party animal, lol.

I agree with everyone here regarding the QR Code ordering! The preshow entertainment is one of the…read morebest things about this place, but you can't even enjoy it because you're on your phone trying to order food. They should at the very least have either an option to still order on paper, or an order a head option so that you can just order everything before you get there. AMC and Harkins even do that... You can say what time you wanna pick it up and then you can just pick it up on your way in. Since there's no human interaction anyway they might as well just let us do that. I also felt bad for the server because I didn't feel like he deserved what I would normally tip on the bill, but it's not his fault and I'm not sure how they're getting paid. It's not really fair to the workers either. So I tipped low on the app and then I felt bad so I gave him an extra money on my way out. The whole thing just really sucks.
