Needed a quick haircut before heading out to Dubai, so we stopped by here after lunch after seeing the ad downstairs for $98 (HK) men's haircut.
The stairs are narrow and the place is fairly ghetto, but I guess that is about what you would expect for something under $100... At least it is clean and not disgusting like the back alley outfit we walked by earlier that was offering $85 haircuts and there were 2 dudes in front of me.
The stylists here are all quite young, and I was informed that it will be $108 since it is Christmas/New Years season. Normally, I would have left in a huff and reward them with a 1 star review, but since I was feeling rather charitable after a meal at Joel Robuchon, and the fact I was rather winded after a hike up the steep and narrow stairs, I decided to just fuck it and stay.
There was 1 lady in front of me but there were 4 stylists at work here, so the wait was relatively painless.
They sure wash your hair thoroughly here and I am quite satisfied with their work. The price increase sucked donkey balls though, I was gonna give them 3.5 stars with possibility of rounding up to 4, so this and the general ghetto feel gets them a 3 stars instead.
