WhenI first moved to Hong Kong a colleague recommended I check out one of the more popular hair salons in Hong Kong, which I did, and shortly after almost fainted when I found out how much it cost. (After the service unfortunately) At this other hair salon I got balayage, roots done and a hair cut-cost almost $500 US. Insane. So, needless to say I wasn't about to go back there, so I noticed this unassuming little hair place I pass daily on the way to my office, Raw. Their prices are both on the window, and on their website, so I knew what I was getting into. I called on Saturday and was able to make a same day appointment, which usually I am a little skeptical about, but gray hair is not cute, especially on a brunette. So, in I went, explained that I just wanted the gray done, and a basic cut of dead ends with some layers. Done. Service was fairly quick, and between two stylist, I was quite happy. I'm always a little skeptical when people do dry cuts, but it turned out good. Total price tag, about $90US. I'll definitely be back. read more
