10/06/2024. Outdated, but clean auditorium #8 at 11:05 am.

This is another location that I go to that plays a variety of movies. 10/06/2024. The auditoirums are outdated, but they are clean and it doesn't matter once the lights are off :) Watching a movie at the theaters brings ambiance that can't be duplicated at home.

Used cups, and popcorn that they didn't clean up prior to my showing

Out of all the times Ive been to this theater since it's close by to my house I never had this kind of experience. Yesterday I had tickets to see Jurassic rebirth at 4:10 and it was in auditorium 14. So I usually see workers cleaning the theater prior and after the movie but it looks like they were lazy or didn't see it We sat all the way in the back isle N seats 22/23 If I'm spending almost $20 a ticket and close to $50 on popcorn and drinks you would think they will clean it. Hopefully next time I go it is

The state of the restrooms. Several stalls without toilet paper. Unless you're looking at the ground.

Where are the managers? We went tonight to see a film and the bathrooms are disgusting. For starters three stalls had no toilet paper to use. Seems like it was just thrown on the floor. Another stall had literal feces all over the floor. Foul. I looked around for a manager and found no one. This is nasty. Would love to see a manager actually delegating people to take care of the theater that I genuinely want to stick around.

Accessibility: there are accessible parking spots across from the entrance, it's all flat ground from the parking lot into the building, and everything inside the whole movie theater is flat ground or has ramps. They have larger, wheelchair accessible stalls and sinks inside the restrooms, and you can ask for closed captions or headphones for the movies. Experience: there are a lot of complaints from other people in reviews but sadly you can't please everyone. This movie theater is fine to me. We know movies are expensive these days, and if you're worried about that, don't buy extra things like popcorn and drinks. As for the heating/AC, you should ALWAYS bring a warm jacket if it's cold, and simply take it off if you get hot. Be prepared for either condition. The employees here are nice, work quickly to help customers, and it is not crowded (even on a Saturday night). I do recommend this place. To me, the movie was a bit loud, but I brought earplugs so it cut some of the sound down.

Snack booth. Zoom-in just to the top right of the Pepsi sign... Truely and Bud Lite

Theater (IMAX) was disgustingly dirty. Food all over the floor and aisles. Also theater could use some major renovations.

We had such a fun time together. Only issue is the soap dispensers in ladies bathroom consistently do not work. Worker will give you some soap so you can go in and wash up but that's annoying to have to ask each time. Please fix the dispensers. Seats are comfortable. Decently clean. I mean it's a movie theater. I grew up almost losing a show with floors so sticky so this place is clean in comparison. Come Enjoy family or friends night out, we did.

The first time I had to deal with her was after my friends and I had gone into a theater in winter without being warned that it had no heater, and it was absolutely freezing to the point where my friends were shivering and their teeth were chattering. I had worn a jacket with a hood and brought a blanket and I actually had to sit there with the hood up. I mean we're talking frigid! On the way out of the theater, I recognized her as the manager so I approached her and she basically just said well the heater is broken. As if there was nothing she could do about it and she was very unfriendly and I thought frankly she was rude. Fast forward to 1/27/26 -we went on discount Tuesday to see the movie "Marty Supreme." We were about 10 minutes into the movie, I would guesstimate, and suddenly the fire alarms were going off and the lights were flashing. So everybody in the theater filed out and by the time, my friends and I got out into the lobby, we were told it was a "false alarm". So we all just ran back & got into our seats as quickly as possible. But then we were sitting there and the lights just kept flashing. It was a huge distraction and it made our theater experience horrible. But we go to the movies almost every Tuesday at that theater. Since they've discontinued senior day on Wednesdays, we take advantage of the discount day on Tuesdays. The couple next to us got up and said they were leaving and getting a refund. That was before the lights quit flashing, so my friends and I all stood up and started to leave and then suddenly the lights quit flashing. So then we had to file back to our seats again. We were thinking well maybe they'll rewind the movie. But they never did. We sat back down and vowed to ask the manager to give us some compensation on our way out. One of my friends asked for her money back. I wouldn't have asked for that, but she was ahead of me, so whatever! I would've expected a free popcorn or concession of some kind. But this manager said to us, "they were supposed to rewind the movie." I said to her "they did not rewind the movie". So after watching a nearly 3 hour long movie, she tells us "all I can do is rewind the movie right now and let you sit and watch it"!!!! We didn't have time, not to mention the fact that every movie comes with about a 20 minute lead-in of commercials. REALLY??? THAT WAS ALL SHE COULD DO ?? Didn't she mean THAT WAS ALL SHE WOULD DO??? And you know a friendly, smiling attitude would've gone a long way in this situation. Or how about the words "I'm sorry"?? How about pretending to give a damn, even if you don't , which was clear. She is the worst manager I have ever had to deal with! Any manager with a half a brain knows that although it may cost a little bit of money to offer a disgruntled customer a free popcorn or a free Coke or a free movie ticket for future use goes a very long way in creating Goodwill towards your establishment. Especially if you SMILE!!! This manager is unfriendly and inept. You made three customers very unhappy today. Actually I'm sure a lot of people just put up & shut up. Which is clearly what she wanted us to do. Shame on you, Cinepolis!! I KNOW you can do better than this!!!

(Author Andy Weir also wrote The Martian and Artemis, both of which I enjoyed.) There were a few theater options in the Carlsbad/Oceanside area, and Cinépolis Luxury Cinemas Paseo Real stood out for its fully reclining seats and in-theater dining. Reviews were decent, so we gave it a shot. Our party of four reserved seats for a weekday afternoon showing. If you can swing that timing, it's worth it. Tickets are cheaper and the theater is noticeably quieter. The seating was very comfortable, exactly what you'd hope for in a "luxury" theater. The venue itself felt a bit tired in spots, but still perfectly respectable. As for the movie, I enjoyed it. Ryan Gosling delivered a strong performance. Like most adaptations, it didn't quite live up to the book, but it was still very entertaining. Bottom line: Comfortable seating, a relaxed atmosphere, and a solid viewing experience. I'd be happy to come back.

I get my tickets via an application and then when I arrive I show it to the person in the box office/info area inside. They'll kindly tell you what auditorium it's in and where it's located. Easy peasy. I was slightly disappointed that I couldn't just order my popcorn in the concession area but rather had to use the order in your seat feature. On my last visit the previews weren't too long of a performance before the movie started just 13 minutes post the ticketed time. Even though I only wanted popcorn I curiously explored my options on the menu located on the rotating arm tables. Just push the glowing circle button for your attendant to take your order. I missed the very beginning of the movie because ordering in my seat slightly distracted me. I didn't even realize it wasn't another preview to another movie but rather the actual movie I came for. So for me it's a toss up between liking this feature and disliking it. The staffers were kind and had enjoyed my friends and my banter about it. We all had a good chuckle. Going on a Monday evening is nice since it's not as busy but also know that it's half the cost on a Tuesday evening. FYI. *It's also hit or miss on cleanliness but overall it seems better here than other venues by the same name. Also note: make sure you're heading to the right La Costa theater because there are two ~~ just in different centers. We didn't make a mistake this time so that was a "Whew!"

I purchased handicap seats because my mother is handicap and so is my grandmother. I purchased the only 3 handicap seats that were next to each other and available at this location. When we first arrived a couple were sitting in the seats we expected to have. The couple had no idea where they were supposed to sit because they didn't even have tickets!! We watched them move 4 times!! We watched them get kicked out of people seats 4 times!! I, the adult who PAID for tickets, paid for handicap tickets was told that the seats I bought were not for my type of handicap. So not only was I not given the handicap seats I paid for and that were absolutely necessary, I was pushed farther away from the exit to walk down steps with both handicap ladies in the dark while the movie was playing. THEN, the food we had ordered before getting kicked out of our seats showed up late, the server never came back to take our full order, never checked up on us, even the food was delivered with no "can we get you anything else". The only time the awful server came back was to drop the bill 45 mins before the movie was even finished! Outside that we ordered the endless popcorn which we clearly couldn't get more of, we were never asked before the bill was dropped off if we needed anything else or how it was. I think it's pretty clear that we were discriminated against, treated terribly and the staff intentionally stopped serving us. It too bad the unprofessional manager sent his employees to do the talking instead of coming out and dealing with the situation as he/she should have. For the prices we pay to go here, this is absolutely disgusting and unprofessional behavior by this staff. I will be writing to corporate to inform them about this awful situation.
