Was visiting Camarillo and went to see Toy Story 5. Regal Edwards is located on Ventura Blvd a short block away from the Outlets. I was immediately greeted by the young lady, the ticket taker. I ordered my adult matinee ticket as well as my snack from the kiosk preceding the nice ticket taker. It was ok to bring my bottled water/hydro flask in. So I proceeded to pick up my snack which were the mini corndogs at the preordered counter. The movie was in Auditorium 10 which is a room with stadium seating and comfy recliners. It's clean with cupholders at every seat. Kinda odd that on the first floor is only one family/disability restroom. The main restrooms are upstairs. Overall a pleasant experience.

Saw a movie with my sisters the day before Thanksgiving. So nice to have reclining chairs! So comfy though squeaky. The popcorn was good. We bought nacho cheese for my sis :) Our tickets were $18 for the night time viewing. I hadn't been to this movie theatre in years!

We are in the middle of a change in destination. When the train stops, all together we will smile

Came here last week for The Meet-Up At The Movies screening of The Grateful Dead Movie. This was my second time seeing an IMAX format movie here, and this time it was personal. Personal as there was actually a chance I might see myself in the movie. A small chance but a chance nonetheless. The Grateful Dead Movie is a concert film that captures the band in 1974 playing live at Winterland in San Francisco. I was at one of the five concerts that were filmed for the movie. The movie spends almost as much time showing the audience as it does the band. The cameras weave through the crowd inside and outside the venue, before, during and after the show. I saw the movie theatrically when it first came out in 1977, and I've probably seen it another dozen times over the years. After the first couple screenings I quit looking for myself in the crowd scenes. But this was the first time I would be seeing the movie in IMAX, and a freshly remastered print on top of that. I imagined the larger format might afford me a better view of the audience. Maybe, just maybe, I'd catch a glimpse of 19 year old Mikey. Imagine the prospect of going to a concert, then fifty years later seeing your 19 year old self twenty feet high on an IMAX screen? Would I even recognize myself? Well we'll never know because once again I failed to spot myself in the crowd. Not really surprising of course, I knew it was a long shot. And although it would've been fun to spot myself in the movie, it was infinitely more fun to have actually been there at the concerts. Mikey C says: and I was there.

I dont care what anyone says! I love this theater! Its always empty and clean inside the theater! The seat are big, beautiful and comfortable! They are recliner chairs. The movie sound is always as loud as a rock concert! Restrooms could use a good cleaning for sure, but other than that, Good job!

Nobody was at the entrance to scan out tickets. We went to the concession stand. The person helping us was a very rude. Guess that explains why I haven't been to a Regal in ages.

My son with his special show popcorn holder

My son celebrated his birthday at Regal Cinemas in Camarillo. When it came to customer service and responsiveness, Regal was the best. Santa Rosa was too expensive and the only way I got a response from Cinemark was when I walked into the theater to talk about the GM. I can't speak highly enough about Ryan, Michael, Crissy, and team. The birthday song was so cool! The theater was clean, the popcorn was delicious - overall great experience. Thank you!

paid $52 for imax tickets and couldn't be more underwhelmed. the screen had to black lines in the bottom right corner which were very distracting throughout the film, oh and not to mention the theater needs some serious refurbishing!!! crusty arm rests, no reclining seats, and OH no cup holders!! save your money go to a different theater... was not an imax experience.

All of the seats in the theater are like this, not just a few of them , all of them.

Buy tickets at the theater and save yourself the online fee. 2 small bottles of water and 1 candy was $17. The theater seats were comfy and ours would rock a little. It was clean and staff was friendly.

I love seeing movies theatrically. And this facility is clean and comfortable. Credit where credit due. The issue I have with this place is the customer service at the Snack Bar. I like my popcorn hot, and let me make it clear, I'm in no hurry. I will stand aside and wait to get in line however long it takes until I see a fresh batch is being popped. I time it so I'm placing my order and the popcorn is being emptied from the kettle. I smile and give the counterperson my order. I ask politely if they would please scoop up that wonderfully hot popcorn they just popped. The employee usually says, Sure! Then one of two things happen: Either they proceed to shove the popcorn scoop as far down into the popcorn receptacle as their arms will allow, and dredge up some lame ash barely lukewarm popcorn from the depths. Or they use the scoop to swirl the fresh, hot, newly popped popcorn into the already cooled off popcorn, squandering the opportunity to fill my damn bag with the freaking hot popcorn I requested. All they have to do is scoop the hot popcorn in the bag. Don't mix it in with the old first. Just put the damn popcorn in the bag, while it's still hot! So, yeah, if they could just accomplish that one simple task I would be rating this place a solid three stars. And I would be a regular customer. But I like to enjoy some hot popcorn with my movies, and I accept that that is never going to happen here. Your most earnest supplications will be denied. Consequently, the only time I see movies here are for special screenings. Often they feature screenings of random hit movie's 25th or 50th Anniversary release. I've seen several here, and I really appreciate that they exhibit them. Sure wish they would offer hot popcorn though. They'd be so much cooler if they did. I'd go to way more movies, that's for sure. I swear, I'd pay $5 extra for actually hot popcorn. Mikey C says: shouldn't have to, but would.

It's an easily accessible theater that is…read morelocated in a way that it is easy to catch a movie (which of course is also benefited by the slew of showtimes). Popcorn is always fresh, seats are comfortable, and as recent A-Lister, I always feel welcomed. My one star off is due to some problems I've had with their CC devices. Some issues that I've had since coming here: 1. Some devices not being charged (but there is always a backup), and are usually very willing to hand over a different one when I point out a percentage below 50%. 2. None of the devices seem to have working cup holder tighteners. They require you to get it how you want before putting in the cup holder. While it works, I'd like to see this improved. 3. Slightly long waits to get a CC device. I'd like to see a quicker response time. I'm someone that usually goes into matinee showings, and while I'm sure they are more short staffed that time of day, they're also less busy, so am surprised when I'm waiting 5+ minutes. Luckily, I haven't had this problem when I find out a device isn't working at the beginning of a movie, and while it's rare for lightning to ever strike, I'm worried it sometime will, and I will have to make a fuss about something I don't want to. Despite my reservations about their CC devices, AMC does it 10000x better than Regal, whom I ALWAYS had issues with my CC devices, which is why I am an A-Lister. Kudos, team!

My kids and I come here pretty regularly, and we've always had such a great experience. The theater is always super clean and really well maintained, the seats are comfortable, and even the temperature inside is perfect. I'm someone who notices when a theater is freezing or uncomfortable, and somehow they always seem to get the AC just right here. The staff has always been friendly and helpful, and I have to give five stars to the food and bar too! We always end up ordering something. The salted mini pretzels are a favorite, and the hot dogs are pretty much my go-to every time. The bar is a plus! We also LOVE seeing movies in Dolby here. If it's a movie we're really excited about especially, that's usually how we want to see it. I really don't have anything negative to say about this location. It's comfortable, clean, the service is great, the food is good, and we always have a great time. There are plenty of theaters to choose from, but AMC 14 Thousand Oaks continues to be my favorite. The only thing I would complain about is they don't bring the food to your seat anymore, you have to wait for it now after you order it. Would be nice to have this accommodation come back to this theatre.

The screen is large and there are many seats so should be able to enjoy any showing. One Caveat for me: family friendly movies are usually shown at 2pm, so if you are someone bothered by young children in the audience who may not tolerate sitting still for several hours and who may be naturally noisy, than you may be better off going to evening 6 or 7pm movies. The seats are fine for comfort, older style with no reclining but not too dirty or thin in padding (for comparison, the older seats in the Regency theater in Ventura are much more uncomfortable for me)

Kudos! Second, the hostess / cashier was extremely welcoming, informative, and gracious. She was happy to see us, which is always a nice feeling. She let us know that there was a group meeting down in the basement about to get started in 7 minutes, but that we could go down there to see a collection of weavings on display. We popped down to check them out. While not mind-blowing, it was a fairly extensive grouping of closely woven pieces of varying size and design. Back up on the main floor they had their current traveling exhibit of artwork from the collection of the Mullin Automotive Museum. The varied works of photography and paintings in various media are as striking as the autos that inspired them. Well worth experiencing for those who love the sleek lines and elegant components of classic cars. Having been to the Mullin, I don't remember the artwork as much as the cars, which suggests that highlighting the art is a worthwhile endeavor. Because these works were not the property of the Carnegie, but rather on loan, photography was not allowed. Up on the second floor, selfies only were recommended, but photos of the museum's permanent collection were okay. The current selections are of the plein air style, with emphasis on California subjects. Cornelis Botke (husband of Jessie Arms Botke, noted Ventura County painter) is represented with one of his landscapes. I thought I recognized the Botke name. Jessie Arms Botke's works are currently featured at the Santa Paula Art Museum. There is a fair amount of unused space, especially on the second floor. Portable display walls could be utilized to expand the number of works available to see. I suppose lighting could be a challenge, but they could surely figure it out. The building itself, in neoclassical style, was the former Oxnard City Library. It presents a grand facade in downtown Oxnard, adjacent to Plaza Park. Free parking in their own lot and adjacent streets. We saw a fashion photo shoot happening out front when we arrived, and it does make a statement as an architecture background. I understand that it's a popular place for photography. As we were leaving, the hostess mentioned that around the corner is their "Artist in Residence" venue, and suggested that we check it out. The current group of pieces there are mostly focused on photographs, and are vibrant, youth-focused, and often raw in emotion and subject matter. Worth checking out, especially for anyone who thinks that art museums are "stuffy".
