I found Athena in 2017. By sheer luck, I happened to find the most wonderful, perfect humans and…read moretrainers there. Let me tell you my story. They (Megan -- and now Meghan, too) have loved me and trained my unruly, fat, deconditioned, broken, unique, just-as-it-is body and taught me to use it and taught me just how strong and resilient it is. I had NO idea what I was doing when I found them. I learned everything from scratch. They taught me that exercise shouldn't HURT. They trained me (and others) through the Pandemic and remotely while I was in DC for two years -- in a 400 sq ft apartment where Megan couldn't see me half the time. Then I came back to Carlisle with Long COVID. And my even MORE unruly, rebellious body. They figured out Post-exertional malaise (PEM) and chronic fatigue with me (and yes, that's very, very real). We have worked through locked up joints and hypermobile joints. And POTS. Oh, a car crash and a couple concussions And we figured out how to train a new body -- literally. Everything was different. We fucked up A LOT -- and experimented together. I spent a lot of time on the floor. There were a lot of tears. And a lot of swear words. And some really silly moments, and some really stupid ones. And there was that treadmill disaster. But there have been an awful lot of victories, too. I can sometimes get things off of shelves. I went kayaking a few weeks ago. I can walk about half a mile without stopping if it's not too hot outside. (I used to walk 5 or 6 for fun.) I am lifting serious weights again. My cardio stamina on a stationary bike is so vastly improved from a couple years ago I feel like a different person (although I still have a looong road ahead on balance and walking). I can almost lift my arms above my head. These are huge wins. And it's because when trainers are good, they are very, very good. And the Meg(h)and are the best there are. They know when to push and when to back off. They know how to challenge and inspire. They celebrate wins and hold space for fear and sadness. And they help us create community as we learn to live in and live our bodies. It's pretty freaking spectacular.

Megan is an exceptional trainer and I cannot say enough good things about her and training at…read moreAthena. Even in group class settings, Megan takes time to focus on form and emphasizes the importance of listening to your own body. When I'm training there I feel supported and confident. Love everything about my time each week spent at Athena!

You can tell the owner is pouring as much as he can into making this facility the best it can be. Though it's not as developed or as sofisticated as elite therapy and fitness on the pike, it's still a GREAT value. At $40.00 monthly, my kid gets two one hour sessions of agility training with 20 kids. Matt does his best to divide his attention on kids that need it and my son had lots of fun. The other kids seem to enjoy it too. The parents were very social, which is nice. I recommend starting your child off at ignite to prep for sports. If your kid is dead serious about pursuing a scholarship through athletics, then a more expensive facility might be a better fit. Still, ignites really neat for the begginer athelete. You won't be dissappointed.

They offer a variety of programs and even have a summer intensive program which really helps develop those elite athletes looking to take the next step on their journey's! The owner is very friendly and he really cares about every athlete. He really wants to see each athlete better themselves and shows no care about just collecting their money like other gyms might. Ignite has also sent about 300 athletes to college within the past 5 years and is also home to an MLG pro and a NWHL MVP. These are some incredible feats for the program, but doesn't show how hard each athlete really works. I highly recommend coming in and seeing how hard each athlete works and how great the owner is. If you are serious about getting to college athletics this is the place for you. Not only will it get you in the best shape of your life it will also strengthen you and prevent injuries. This isn't just the best place for your buck it is the best place for athletes in the state of PA and potentially even the country!

If I didn't make changes there was a high probability of soon taking prescription drugs. Having previously tried things on my own, I knew I would fail or possibly risk injury to myself. I decided to invest in a personal trainer who would understand my goals and develop a custom-tailored plan and monitor my progress to keep me on track. Stacia is well trained and an experienced professional who clearly put a lot of time in designing a program which is geared specific to my needs. The workouts are fun and mixed with plenty of variety so I don't have the chance to ever be bored, plus I'm learning the proper form and technique. Right from the start I knew she created a game plan that was hitting the mark. Three months into the program at 2BFit my A1C glucose levels dropped dramatically (well below pre-diabetic levels) and cholesterol numbers are now the lowest in 7 years. I know I would never have achieved this level of fitness and wellness if not for Stacia and her personal attention, professional knowledge, and encouragement. I'm very impressed with her passion to help clients progress safely with their individual goals and needs, all while taking into consideration their abilities. Bottom line- the value of working out at 2BFit is reflected in the proven results in my health and fitness. If you want to make an investment in your strength and flexibility and are ready to make a commitment and work for a better quality of life, please reach out to Stacia. She deserves the highest praises and compliments for keeping me motivated and pushing me hard enough to achieve the maximum benefit with each training session. ~CDale~ Mount Joy, PA
