I scheduled a new patient appointment and specifically asked for a cleaning. I also stated that I had no issues with my teeth. I waited 25 minutes for an 8AM appointment. At 8:30, I was informed that the scheduler put me in a problem focused appointment with no cleaning. I was also told that the next available appointment is in January. I absolutely do not recommend this dental practice. There is no excuse for this complete lack of customer service. This happened at the Mars, PA location. read more

I went in for an appointment because I had pain from a cavity; the filling came out. They took X-Rays, then informed me that my insurance doesn't cover fillings or extractions (because of a broken tooth) and they DON'T DO fillings or extractions at their office! They had my insurance information and I told them the specific problem BEFORE setting the appointment. They then gave me a name/referred me to another place, which would charge me over $1,000 for the filling alone. Lo and behold, I called my insurance company and they verified that my insurance DOES cover fillings and extractions - 100%! When I went to request that my records be sent to another dentist office, the young lady at the desk took the information for the new office without having me sign an authorization, and said they'd send my records over. I see this is going to be an issue as well. I guess I should mention that she said, "You could've called instead of coming in." Nice. They seem to only do X-rays and MAYBE cleanings, but they don't inform you of other basic services that a regular dentist would provide. They pretty much bill your insurance, refer you to another dentist who'll charge $$$, then send you on your way. Don't waste your time. UPDATE: At the new dental office and had to leave after rescheduling because Refresh Dental DID NOT send my records over!!!! DO NOT GO HERE!! UPDATE AGAIN: They still haven't sent my records and the phone number provided with the response to this post does NOT WORK!!! read more

I went to their Rochester location to have my dental work done. They did not accept my insurance, so I wanted to have all my X-rays and evaluation from Rochester transferred to the Warren office. I called Warren and they confirmed by phone (one day) that they accepted my Medicaid insurance. When I called the next day to set the appointment, they told me they must use my primary insurance first, which would have cost me out of pocket. They insisted that they could not use my Medicaid as I wished. The main point of this review is the rude treatment that I got from the receptionist. In a very condescending way, she told me that the issue with the insurance was "Insurance 101" and continued to treat me in a rude and condescending way the rest of the call. That was enough to convince me to take my business elsewhere. Based on other reviews here, that was obviously the right choice. read more

This office is very unprofessional and unorganized. The dentist hygienist constantly cancels because normally it's just one. Next available appointment is months away to only be canceled. The dentist also constantly reschedules so he can take his lunch. He is not interested in seeing patients unless they are in need of root canal or teeth pulled. The front office desk is RUDE!! They need to take a customer service course. I have no idea how they even got hired. They will reschedule appointments without even asking by sending text messages after patients re-arrange their schedule!!! When you do finally have a kept appointment then your waiting for an hour or so!! But if your a few minutes late then they have the nerve to say they have to cancel the appointment. By far the most unprofessional company I've ever dealt with. I've been trying to resolve a bill for over 1 year with the Center Line office and the office manager refuses to treat me with any respect. I've reached out to their corporate office, only to get the run around and no returned phone calls. As a paying customer, I'm extremely disappointed in the way that I've been treated. This is the worse Dental office i have ever contact. I was a new pt with them made an appt for cleaning and see the doctor when I went to the office they said they can't do the cleaning today bc the hygenist is not there, so they reschedule me for another day which it was a month out. 2nd appt on the day of the appt received a message that the doctor will not be in ( things happen) understandable. Reschedule again same thing the day of the appt Dr. Is not in call to reschedule. I reschedule for the 4th time after 3 months back n forth and same thing received a message dr will not be in. I went there for a second opinion and was amazed by the care that I received the dentist there didn't go off of the other dentists notes like most dentists would he saved me about $5,000 if not more. My family went here to get cleanings, exams, and x-rays. It's not the most upscale dentist office you're going to see, but the customer service and friendliness of the staff is the best around! Our dental hygienist Sara was so wonderful! She's nice, talked Pokemon with our kids, and even sent them some of her old Pokemon cards in the mail for my daughter's 5th birthday! We've booked our next appointments with her and I look forward to many more years with their office! I highly recommend them! read more

Had a bad feeling about this place on my 1st visit. While waiting I watched one customer walk out of the place in disgust. The dentist does not listen to customer concerns or concerns that her own staff brings to her attention. My first week I saw right through this woman. On my 2nd trip she refused to observe a problem I mentioned about my extraction area being very tender and refused to believe it was because her stitches came out in less than a day after she extracted my teeth. She decided to do my denture impressions without even looking in my mouth, said I could just come back if there is a problem. Meanwhile she tried soaking my insurance company with a cleaning and tried doing a filling while refusing to show me the x-ray that should show the problem she claimed I had. Feeling no pain and seeing no other visible issues..... I decided this woman and I should part ways before she drills into a tooth that had 0 proof of an existing issue. I came for dentures and she just created more problems and more delays then I should suffer through. I guess when the waiting room is a dirty, loud and nasty area people can expect the same type of service. I should of left when I noticed an out to lunch sign on the door and I had to wait about 15 mins past my appointment time in the frigid cold for them to open the door. Pathetic place to visit......no wonder there were never more than 2 customers in the place. read more
