i just completed a dental crown treatment. The treatment took two visits. Dr Ridgley explained what…read morethe process entailed. she answered all my questions and relieved my anxiety. Amanda, the dental Assistant was wonderful. She also was so patient with me as she worked on the crown with precision , exactness and care. I was so happy that she took care of me as well as Dr. Ridgley. i would highly recommend Neshannock Dental to all those who are looking for a dentist. i feel confident that your experience would be good!

Be aware of this office. Very poor billing practices. The fact that i had reputable Dental…read moreInsurance from MetLife meant nothing. This dental office has mastered the art of confusion. This office advertises as a participating provider. I was charged full amount well over $ 1,100.00 for a crown upfront before i could be treated. No office staff advised getting a pre approval first. I had to bring it to their attention that i was overbilled. Then i was told i would receive a refund if the insurance paid. I was wrong to agree to this and paid upfront because i so needed the procedure. It took me a month to receive a refund of $ 473.40 and i had to fight for it. i not only paid them but my dental insurance paid them as well. They held my money even after MetLife indicated they would pay. I have never experienced anything like this in all of the years i have visited dental practices. I am 69 years old. The office aide named Ava was very demeaning and needs to learn how to respect and speak properly to the customer. Her attitude and approach to the public is unacceptable. I have been so tempted to report this incident as elder abuse and feel bad for any elderly person who does not understand these procedures. Needless to say, my husband and i will not return.

We love Dr. Moses. He is so kind and caring. The office staff is also very helpful. Anytime I have…read morean issue, they work to get me in as quickly as possible. My son has had multiple teeth pulled for orthodontics and they are so great with him. No one enjoys the dentist, but they certainly try to make it less scary.

They had really big fillings in them and would eventually need to have work done on them. I did not want to have to go through having really bad toothaches, so, I scheduled an appointment to have them be taken care of. He had done a root canal on the opposite side of my mouth a couple of years prior. On the day of my appointment, he drilled my teeth for the better part of an hour. It wasn't until he was done and had mapped my teeth to make a crown that I realized that he was not going to do a root canal. He never discussed treatment with me. I assumed that since this situation was almost identical to the previous one, that the treatment on the right side would be the same. He was the doctor, so, I trusted him. (Mistake #1.) He finished the drilling, made a temporary crown and was done for that appointment. I paid the full bill that day (Mistake #2). Root canals cost well over 1000.00. My copay was almost 800.00. So then my pain began. Teeth that didn't hurt previously, now were very painful. I called his office after a few days because of the pain. When I went in to see him, I was assured that everything would be okay. When it was time to place the permanent crown, I was still complaining of being in a lot of pain. They told me that the permanent crown would solve the problem. I guess that in this office, once size fits all. It's not possible that your situation might be different than the general population. The permanent crown did not solve the problem. For four months I have endured tooth pain and severe tooth pain, jaw pain and severe jaw pain, and have taken several rounds of antibiotics. When I returned, again, after trying steroids and more amoxicillin with no improvement, he decided that I needed a root canal on #31. He said, "I'm going to send you to an endodontist for a root canal. The girls up front will give you all the information and book an appointment for you". He was out the door of the examining room and couldn't get away fast enough. I called the office manager to request a 50% refund to put towards the additional procedure. I told her that I was pissed. The answer was "absolutely not!" I know that Dr. Moses knows that he should have done a root canal to begin with. The endodontist, Dr. Benson, and his staff were wonderful and I learned a lot: I learned that I will never let a dentist do more than a filling I learned that even professionals don't want to take responsibility for their mistakes I learned that excessive drilling on a tooth can damage the pulp and roots and cause infection to start I learned that if saliva gets into a dental procedure, the bacteria can cause an infection....the doctor's responsibility I learned that an endodontist has 2 - 3 years more education than a regular dentist and they also serve an internship I have dealt with pain and infection for the entire summer. Dr. Moses has not taken responsibility for his part in this "drama". You can judge by what you have read.
