Trying to overcome trauma, I spent way too long with a chris perry from perry prosthetics. trying…read moreto get a solution to an extreme problem. He is very slow and very non-attentive to your needs. When I asked about options to help solve a problem I was having, (my prosthetic leg continuously fell off while walking. In jeans or shorts) He avoided what ended up being the solution to my problem. Ultimately leading me to fall several times in public places, with huge embarrassment and having injury both physical and mental. My son witnessed several falls at concerts, shopping centers, sporting events etc... We don't attend public events anymore because of the effects that experience has had on my Son. I wanted a pin lock system prosthetic leg and he kept forcing a suction system prosthetic leg on me. I did not know there was a difference in performance. Or why I was falling. He kept me in the dark way too long never explaining what the difference was. In the two different systems. I now go to another prosthetic center and have been able to get work done there the same week I call and don't have to wait but about 5 minutes for adjustments to be made. Life is so much better without Chris Perry. I haven't fallen since my new leg pin system Also, he proudly hangs a painting of himself in his reception area of his business, He's standing in front of a motorcycle Wich is hanging behind his receptionist. That's a nice message to be sending to amputees who have just crashed on their motorcycles resulting in leg loss. Very insensitive. Go elsewhere if you can. This man will drag you down into tears with bureaucracy.

Jeremy from this company was the consult that visited me while I was incarcerated in Marion, OH. He…read moreprovided a leg that had a good foot, however the socket didn't fit. My leg couldn't squeeze into it. I informed him of this when he made it, and he told me to jam my leg into the socket. I was in incredible pain and couldn't walk more than a couple feet before being in tears. Jeremy said my pain is not real, and he has the training and experience. So I spent most of my time in a wheelchair. I've been an amputee since 2015 and I can run a 5k in 27 minutes. I've never had or used a wheelchair until Jeremy became my forced places prosthesis provider. There were six other lower limb amputee's at my camp, Jeremy provided us all prosthesis, however we were all confined to wheelchairs from poor socket fitments. I'm now at Hanger Clinic getting a much needed solution from the nightmare Jeremy put me through. What I like most about Hanger is that they listen to me, if something is uncomfortable or painful they take my word for it, and make adjustments that allow me to walk and be active in comfort. I'm not much on resentments, but I sure had one with Jeremy from Findlay American Prosthetics.

We DO NOT recommend this company because you cannot trust anything they tell you…read more Our mother needed new orthotics. The company told us that they would not make anything until they had (1) checked with our insurance to see if orthotics would be covered and (2) called to tell us how much our cost would be so we could either go forward with getting the orthotics or cancel. Someone called to tell us that insurance had approved the orthotics and we didn't need to pay, so we told them to make the orthotics. When we picked the finished product up, they said we were good to go and didn't need to pay. A month later they sent us a bill for hundreds of dollars. When we tried to resolve the problem, first we were unable to ever talk with the person in charge, despite calling multiple times and leaving multiple messages. When we finally got hold of the woman and explained what happened, she just said "well that can't have happened because that's not how we work." They also may have billed incorrectly, and the woman told us she'd look into it, and since then she has just ghosted us. The whole experience has felt like a scam to fleece elderly patients out of large amounts of money. We suggest you not bother to bring your business here unless you know insurance is not an issue and are just planning to pay full price up front.
