It felt a little uncomfortable--there was no real privacy, as people could be walking in and out while a person could be trying to relax. I sat there awkwardly until I was finally taken to a private room and asked to wait. I waited about 10 minutes before my 60-minute full body massage began. I was expecting a Swedish-style massage, but it was much more intense than I anticipated. I was sore for a few days afterward, but I did feel overall relief--especially in my neck and lower back. The reason for my 3-star rating is cleanliness. The sheets didn't feel clean; I noticed an oily residue when I first laid down, which was a bit off-putting. Would I go back? Probably not. The price was reasonable, but I'd rather pay a bit more for a cleaner and more professional setting.

Chiropractors have relieved me of sciatic pain and countless aches and pains. I have seen other chiropractors in KC and across the country. Dr. Robin is my favorite chiropractor. She is always learning and stays up to date on best practices. She uses several methods to adjust you and provide relief. She will not hurt you. She doesn't push x-rays or upsell supplements, although you can get both and neck supporting pillows there. She is well respected and known in the Kansas City business and medical community and active in trying to uplift others. Her staff are consistently professional and friendly. They suggest you relax your back on a rolling table while you wait, which feels great and probably helps get a better adjustment. Primary care physicians could learn a thing or two from Dr. Robin.

I like that the massage area has more private areas than many places like this- it's kind of like an office space with semi-private cubicles. It's a clothes-on place. No disrobing for treatments here, except removing your shoes and socks. We both liked our treatments- very relaxing and stress relieving, although it's definitely more like reflexology than massage- more pressure points pushed on than long strokes or rubbing. I realize it's called 'Pro Reflexology,' but both locations of Tao Reflexology, including one just up the street from this place, are more massage based. I prefer more massage based on my neck/shoulders/back, but I absolutely loved the pressure point foot part of this treatment. I'll definitely go back just for that!
