The only complaint I have is that a lot of the moms of 3-4 year olds record during the class. We have tried hard to keep our daughter off of social media and don't know how the other parents are using the videos. Otherwise, it has been a very pleasant experience.

He can't wait to be a part of this camp again. We were nervous leaving him for the entire day considering it's the ocean. There were a few other parents that felt that way as well. At pickup, we all discussed how happy the kids were and how relieved we were. Your kids are in good hands here! I highly recommend Padre Island Surf Camp!

By the way- you may get paired with other people. Each reservation holds 8 or so, so if you don't reserve all of the spots, other people may. They change up the rooms and get rid of old ones after a while, so keep coming back for new escapes and don't miss the current ones!

I see a few reviews with very small groups, not sure why 9 of us were squeezed in at once. The family of 4 that joined us was very domineering and fancied themselves to be genius's...the irony is that all their empty logic failed to solve any puzzles, and they just wasted a lot of our time. "Debbie" thought she was at a mom party or something and would try to assign tasks to us, lol. Her kids were fighting over who got to do what and legit would try to run to the next task when we solved a puzzle, they even tried to take things out of our hand a few times...these were teenagers not small children, lol. Ugh. I would pay the $25 per person- sh!t, I would pay extra NOT to have to be paired with another group. I would recommend either making sure your group is limited to just your people, or coming with a large enough group to fill whatever the max people per room is. Otherwise you may get a Debbie and end up paying $125 to watch her family make zero sense as you cringe because they ignore logical suggestions. Cool idea for family fun and super nice staff though.
