After receiving my hair cut, I enjoyed at the length but was surprised to leave with soaking wet hair, almost looking like a wet rat. I hated that. Then, my cousin received her hair cut. She was taken to the back, and I watched as they chopped off inches of her hair, as she wanted to donate it to Pantene. While watching her get her hair cut, the lady (whose name I do not remember) continued to dry cut her hair after she cut off my cousin's donated hair. She didn't even try wetting my cousin's hair after cutting off the donated hair AND left it in a side part. She didn't part it in the middle until my cousin pointed out that it was in the side part towards the end of the cut. My cousin had to ASK HER to part in the middle when she cut it. After we had left the salon, my cousin had told me that, at first, her hairdresser confirmed exactly where my cousin wanted to keep her length at. And then she removed the hair tie, moved it up several more inches than my cousin agreed upon, and the length ended up being just below her shoulders when she wanted it to be just below her boobs. It wasn't until after we left the salon that, because the hairdresser didn't part my cousin's hair while she received her cut AND dry cut it, my cousin was left was a butchered hair length. When I say butchered, I mean butchered. The hair length is all over the place and my cousin was in TEARS when on the way home. She was so sad that her hair wasn't what she wanted it to be and because she has self esteem issues, her hair was the only thing she liked about herself. Would not recommend to my worst enemy and will never be coming back again.

I go in every 3-4 months for a general haircut with Malisha and come out feeling like a million dollars. I love the way my hair turns out and her blow outs are amazing. Malisha, and the salon in general, will take the time to make sure that you are receiving the best service possible. I have never felt rushed or thought that anyone was just trying to push clients through. My friend gets her hair colored here and is always very happy with the results. She also came in for a more dramatic cut a few months ago and put all of her trust in Dan and he gave her wonderful new, shorter look. (Story used with her permission) The salon in general is great about offering water, tea, wine, and beer and while you may wait a few minutes for your appointment (the other side of not feeling rushed while you are in the chair) there are seats and a coat rack so you can make yourself comfortable. They carry a nice, diverse range of products so if Morrocan Oil isn't your thing you still have an assortment to choose from if you need to pick up anything. Overall, everyone here is so friendly and pleasant, once you settle into the stylist's chair it feels like you were just there a few weeks ago and you are back with familiar friends.

If anything she was only more aggressive about it after we said we disagree with her. Furthermore, she actually said to the bride 'oh wow you actually look much older than your sister' who she already knows is years older than her. She said this to a bride on her wedding day. She did an okay job on the hair but something that was supposed to be fun was made really uncomfortable for all of us. I actually had to go wait in the car after she said some more questionable things about 'kinky hair' because I was having a hard time keeping my temper.
