But what really got me was her man employee that had to get the thing out of the store. It's like someone just ran over his cat and then backed back over it again in front of him. He was grouchy and uncomfortable to work with as I had to help him get it taken apart and then out the door. Not a thank you for helping him or nothing. So not only did I pay full price, I didn't get the whole hutch AND I had to do manual labor, but the worst thing of all was his demeanor. Put a freaking smile on your face dude. Or get out of the customer service business, you belong at the DMV honestly.

But upon arrival, I can tell that it was a pretty laid-back please. The desk clerk was very knowledgeable about the games and their history, as well as some nostalgic items that were available. It reminded me of the old school candy store with the little stickers label posted on it. The items look well cared for and wrapped very thoroughly and methodically. I believe lots of the items are fairly priced and not overwhelmingly expensive. I was most impressed with the miniature video game console that sat at the front counter that pre-dated the Atari. What surprise me most about this location is that they had a actual arcade in the back with various games from the 80s like contra, galaxa, pong, Qbert, dig, dug, streetfighter, or Pac-Man, and they even had a racing game. The only comics they sell are small indies and their own imprint. That being said, their collection is strange, weird and just not good. If you're a reader of Marvel, DC, Image, Boom and Dark Horse you'll notice the difference. Just the art alone is a turn off. Just go to their website and see the bizarre comics they sell. Another thing you'll notice is that they market a lot of comics as "optioned", meaning someone has bought the rights to turn a property into a movie or TV show. This means absolutely nothing. Big studios do this all the time just to have the rights in their catalog of possible projects. This is a good way to market but in the end is exactly that. Trying to sell comics based on the fact that you may be buying the next Something is Killing the Children, Stray Dogs or Oblivion Song.
