I've been getting Botox for a couple years now, and this was the first time I experienced getting botched. I had some drooping with a previous injector which I told the aesthetician Lina I specifically wanted to prevent because it's very important to me to keep the Botox light and natural and I still wanted some movement in my face. I also told her I wanted whatever Evelyn had done previously (14 units months prior, and my first time at this clinic after getting curious seeing one of their Instagram videos touting natural results). The injector argued with me that I needed the full 29 units she was suggesting to get "any result". She told me to trust her. Fast forward to 2 weeks after when my eyes are drooping so much I am straining hard to even keep them open and they won't open all the way. Another injector, Emily, did try to help me by trying to lift my eyes with a little more Botox but it didn't help, and when I tried to ask them if there was anything else they could do, they told me they couldn't do anything. So on top of having, as my sister described "f*cked up my face" (bc what has happened to the top half of my face has affected entirely what I look like), they were unable to fix their mistake. And instead of refunding me for the Botox they did that actually harmed me, they said they would "add a credit" to my account, as if I would trust them with any new work. I just wanted them to fix it or somehow make it right and they couldn't. I had to cancel two events, host my husband's big surprise birthday party while looking angry, have unflattering photos taken of me at work, and currently, on vacation in France and Spain a month later, I still look really bad and not like myself in all our vacation photos and tbh I'm heartbroken about it. Even if they have a couple injectors here who may be good, they clearly don't train everyone properly. Most people are too embarrassed to post publicly if they've been botched but I want to warn folks who are considering coming here. I can share text screenshots too but I've posted before and after photos. I'll post an update if my previous injector is able to fix this mistake once I'm back, but if not I'll be living with this for probably months. read more
