They did their job but when I first visited a Sweet Peach studio in Atlanta, I knew I had been missing out on an even better experience. I have visited this Virginia Highlands location once before, but actually thought that I was booking at their Vinings location. Oops! Halfway through my drive I realized that I was going to a totally different place, lol. (The team was so nice, they assured me that if I was at the wrong location, they would have worked it out for me) Parking in this neighborhood can feel a little risky as there are 'no parking' signs all over, it's hard to know what to believe. I called ahead just to confirm if I could park on the street without issue during my afternoon visit and was reassured. Spoiler alert: My car was safe in its original spot with no ticket in sight. The vibes at each Sweet Peach are the same, adorable and covered in peaches! Peach rugs, walls in peachy tones, adorable peachy butts, etc etc. Once you walk into a Sweet Peach, you'll never forget how they look lol. Another fun trait of each Sweet Peach? Sex and The City plays on each tv. LOVE. Definitely easy to get through a waxing/sugaring appointment as you see Carrie embarrassing herself once again for Big's attention. The team at this location (and honestly, every locaton) is SO nice. They were patient, incredibly helpful and just sweethearts. Tammy was my wax tech on my last visit and she did an amazing job. Quick, efficient and we had a nice little chat. They really hire some great employees here - from the front desk to the waxers. Truly my favorite waxing studio!

I had booked my appointment online, which requires a CC to book because if you don't come to the appointment or do not cancel within a certain time you get charged. Which I totally understand! I booked a 6pm appointment the same day. Luckily I checked my email before I left my house (I get so much spam it's hard to stay on track), but they just randomly cancelled my appointment out of the blue. First- why would you not call your customer the same day?? I thought maybe it was a staffing thing, so I called to confirm. They told me it was MY FAULT because I cancelled too many times in the past - 12 times over 8 years!!! As someone who had been going there for 8 years + you would think a phone call or email explaining this would be nice. They said I would no longer be able to book online which is absurd. I'm not going to risk waiting in a walk in appointment. The lack of communication and treatment is truly terrible. Not to mention the girl on the phone who told me this was so rude, saying I was lying and it was all my fault. I will have to try to find a new wax space because this is truly terrible customer service. The only reason they got 2 stars is because I have gotten very good waxes in the past

This was by far one of my best wax experiences ever! I loved that she just didn't get to waxing she ask what was the goal of my wax, ensured I was comfortable. We also had a little girl chat, you know how you establish those relationships with your nail, wax and lash tech? Well we got that. Shes lovely. And though I would never lie and say that the wax was painless but man it was close. All the ladies here have amazing energy. The waiting area has a home-like feel like your in someone living room. I was running late due to traffic and called to be sure it was okay for me to still come and I was informed that you get a 15 minute grace period, this is unheard of. They haven't fallen prey to overpricing and for that, I am grateful. HOWEVER, they have become a bit pushy when it comes to services that you don't want. Recently, I switched from threading to waxing. It's more precise and it makes them take their time. Well, they don't seem to like that lol! This is the second time that I've come in, stated that I wanted a WAX, and they try to pull out the thread. When I repeat myself, they try to argue me down about why threading is better. I'm not a young girl getting her eyebrows done for the first time. I'm a grown lady who knows what she prefers on her brows. At the end of this appointment, the girl starts threading anyway, stating that the brows will be sharper. Now, the brows did come out looking good, but they are a bit thinner and I'm annoyed because she kept trying to do extra things. They don't listen, and I don't want to fight with a service provider on something that I want and that works for me. I will be finding another place where getting a wax isn't such a hassle.
