Hygge. Lots of. Dining room was super snug. Competent kitchen with great use of vegetables and plating. Good meats (but not the best). Friendly, like all of Denmark; nice people. Great bathroom. We enjoyed our meal. Recommend for dinner. read more

Awesome find after a day of going thru LEGOLAND. As the dinner hour approached my wife and I nixed the idea of eating in the park and were looking for something a bit more substantial. After looking thru various sites we found this was very close and decided to head over (dragging the boy). When we arrived we found this was located on the first floor of a local hotel. They have a very good local menu and were also accommodating to the children (special kids menu). They also have a great wine and beer menu. I had a wonderful wild boar chop with a great local beer called Bogedal. FYI, its severed in a 750ml bottle. It was fantastic. My wife had scallops with a wonderful glass of chardonnay and my son opted out of the kids menu and had a 300g steak! Was a great spot of have dinner and relax after visiting LEGOLAND. read more

A wonderful place. Beers are amazing. Schnitzel is highly recommended. The tomato starter was surprisingly summery. Such a great place.

I go here every time I want to get dinner or drinks with friends in Billund. This is where most lego employees go actually. They renovated the hotel a few years back and I absolutely love the staff and proprietors. We sometimes would go in just wanting drinks and tapas or snacks, and even though they don't have that set up, they would try to accommodate us as much as possible. Also, the waiter staff dress up so nicely and I feel like I'm getting a well priced but high level experience. I'm going to continue taking friends and family here whenever they come visit :). Highly recommended!! The drinks are also fantastic and they always have something new and inventive on their menu that is related to the season. read more

REFORGE replaced Billund Kro in May of 2015. It is conveniently located in downtown Billund. We had a family dinner there and enjoyed the food very much. Two of us had the Steak and it was very good. The kids were happy with their meals, also. Their prices are in line with other mid-scale restaurants in Denmark. The restaurant is recently refurbished and the staff is friendly. It is a welcome addition to the restaurant scene in Billund. read more

The places where we dined during our time in Billund were for the most part terrible so this was a real standout. Amazing food and lovely atmosphere. Indifferent and inattentive service but it was fine. read more

If you've spent all day at Legoland, and feel the need to indulge in a good meal, this is the place for you. Somehow we were able to get a table at 6 pm on a Saturday night in June, which seemed like a huge score. Then again, the locals probably don't eat that early, and the staff was happy to warm up with our table. Everything that we ate was delicious. I had the rack of lamb with mushroom flan and potatoes, and it was outstanding. The children's menu is also really nice, and our daughter had a nice piece of fried fish. For dessert we had the cheese course and a few chocolates from a local chocolatier (which you can also buy in the boutique). Overall, a very cozy and welcoming space, a courteous staff, and a nice place to enjoy a meal. The prices are relatively high, but the value is there. Would definitely return. read more
