From basic bike accessories to gardening and DIY stuff, you can find any basic product at reasonable prices on average quality. Common hygiene products are widely available, for which I visit this place mostly.

I just love a rummage round Wilkinson's every time I visit. They have everything from a bath plug…read moreto cosmetics and perfume. Everything is so reasonably priced. I was able to kit out my daughter's student flat for next to nothing. Obviously they do stock some really cheap grotty things too but you can really pick up bargains. I only wish we had this store in NI - I think I would be it's best customer. There is a limit to what you can bring home on the plane!

Room 12 fits a gap in the market by providing clothes that are slightly more upmarket than you'd find in Next, Monsoon or Wallis. However this is not top end designer gear. the shop itself is incredibly cramped and sometimes you walk in and walk straight back out again on a busy Saturday. But if you're looking for something just that little bit more classy for a special occasion then I'd advise you to ignore the lack of space and get stuck in. Downstairs is a range of jeans and tops while upstairs are the dressy dresses, perfect for a special night out. Be warned though, they are generally around 200 quid and above. oh, and the do great shoes as well - I got some cracking Moda in pelles from there
