The Navy veterans at Reed's (Kelvin, April, and Rob) really know how to work as a team and are the utmost professionals with great personalities. That goes a long way with me after being in the military for the last 18 years. They always made us feel like we are the #1 customer and always had our best interest. Here is how my process went: Once we decided to look into buying a new house and sell our home while the market had great interest rates, I did my research for a Realtor. After coming across ReedsRealty, I read their website thoroughly and knew these were the type of people I wanted on my side- so I put in my information requesting a call back. The next morning Kelvin gave me a call, was at my house doing a walkthrough, and gave me tips on what I needed to do to my house to sell it for the most money and in the quickest time, without breaking the bank. Later that day we were in a Zoom meeting and he was giving me training on how he uses a teamwork approach to run his business and went over what he will guarantee me as a seller and buyer. I then got pre approved with the local lender he directed to me, and we received an interest rate no other company could touch by a mile (under 2.4% for a 30 year mortgage). I immediately began working on my house to get it on the market and in the meanwhile he teamed me up with Robert Jackson to help us attend showings for the houses we were interested in. Robert was awesome. I would call him or shoot him a text about wanting to view a property that day and we were in the driveway a couple hours later. If we didn't like property, he would ask why and write it down to know our expectations. No pressure or trying to talk us into anything, then on to the next one. After viewing multiple properties and putting in a few offers, learning new strategies of Today's sellers market, we landed a deal on the perfect home for us and in the perfect neighborhood. Robert was up at 11pm putting in counter offers for us to close a deal. He killed it every step of the way and remained reliable the entire time we worked with him. He even showed up at our curbside closing to personally give us the key to our new home. I learned a lot from Robert and he is a great guy to talk to. Always has your best interests. During the entire 30 day period before closing, April was directing all the traffic behind the scenes for my new house purchase and the sale of my current house. April organized every appointment needed, coordinating outstanding pictures to showcase the house we were selling, and set up interactions for insurance, attorneys, repairs, and all the inspections. April is the backbone of the everyday operations at Reed's Realty and remains a true professional, always keeping us in the loop of every move being made. If there is a question or situation, she gets the answers and is upfront at all times. 100% credibility and reliability!!! Lastly, Kelvin is the leader of the Reeds organization and is running a superb business. If you want to talk directly to him, he answers the phone. If he can't take the call at the time, he calls you back shortly after and you always have his undivided attention. He will talk you out of making a bad decision and will ensure he has a strategy to get you the best possible deal available, on the buying and selling portion. I would just call or text Kelvin all the time for advice on something I was thinking and he would shoot it straight every time. He would call randomly just to make sure everything was good in our process and just in life itself. What I love best about working Reeds reality is that the entire crew is always on the same page, they are definitely a team and their communication is remarkable with each other for such a fast pace and ever changing industry. I have rewritten this post 5 times trying to capture all of the things they helped us accomplish in 2 paragraphs. Upon meeting the Reed Team, I was very hesitant in general about buying and selling a home at the same time, due to a past experience with another company.
