I accidentally locked my keys in my car and needed an auto locksmith to retrieve them. Luckily, Reed's was able to respond quickly and get to my location within a few minutes. I had called multiple places in the area, and they offered the lowest price with great service. Definitely would recommend to anyone in the area that needs assistance with lock smithing :) Thank you! read more

I needed a spare key for a 2009 Corolla. I called around from Sacramento to Auburn and was amazed at the costs and mileage it would take to get one. Finally, I thought of searching for a locksmith in Grass Valley. I found Reeds Locks, Inc., and made an appointment for the next morning. WOW! From putting my primary key on the counter to driving off the lot with an extra spare key, it took fewer than 15 minutes. Thank you, Eric, from Reeds Locksmith, for this amazing transaction. You are highly recommended. read more

Send your husband.... my husband had a victorian lock repaired by the owner. No problem. Three weeks later I took in a very similar lock.... Owner was unfriendly and dismissive. read more

They were easy to book, quick, and friendly. I had to reschedule and they were very accommodating. Though ours was a fairly small project, they answered our questions and were attentive to our needs. read more

We had an issue with our new van and they fixed IT Their response and skill is what we counted on!! Thank you so much for helping us. read more

This business is amazing. I contacted them regarding a key that they were unable to make. However, they spent their own time researching where I could buy one at a very reasonable price. They then texted me with the information. Wow! Above and beyond! I just want to thank them so very much and tell anyone looking for a locksmith to give Reed's locksmithing your business. Incredible in this day and age! read more

I was impressed by this company who went above and beyond to get my situation fixed. Wes was very helpful and tried many things to get me on my way! This wasn't an easy ask but everyone at the shop was professional and got the job done! So thankful to Reed's Locksmithing. I am a forever customer now! read more

Very responsive, good customer service, on time and friendly. We recommend using them for your locksmith needs.

Wes was fantastic! On time, personable and fast. He did more than expected for a reasonable price, good value, and service as requested

A++ ! Not only does Reed's charge a VERY reasonable price on swapping a chip out of a cracked and damaged chip key and putting it in a new non-electronic key ($25), but he also drove to my house in Brunswick after the new key wasn't working, to fix it so it would work!!! And turns out, it was nothing wrong with the key work he did anyways - my steering wheel was in the locked position, and it could have used some WD40 in the key hole which he then also applied. He was super professional, beyond helpful, and really knows everything there is to know about keys!!! Thank you so much for helping me as much as you did- I really felt like you cared. I highly recommend them at Reed's locksmithing for any of your key related needs!! read more

I wrote a recent one star review which I do not see posted. But I am now editing my review in light of the response of the owner of Reed's (Eric) who contacted me, and personally visited our home and fixed the problem. Note the following: 1. Eric spent many hours on a Sunday to fix the problem. We are human and we make mistakes and the prior work done by another from Reeds did have mistakes made. But the truly wonderful and impressive follow-up by Eric, in word and in deed, more than resolves this issue for me. 2. I also have had a tough time in our move into our new home. The home inspector missed too many important issues and the actual moving experience was the worst of the moves I have had in my 76 years of life. So when the locks were rekeyed and we were left with 3 doors that would lock us out of our house I just blew a gasket and wrote a horrible first review. I now realize I could have called Reed's, spoke to Eric, and he would have resolved the issue. I have of recent years not encountered people like Eric who hold themselves or their company accountable. I thought we were stuck with now having to have another locksmith called with additional expense and inconvenience. Eric was and is a man of integrity and ethics. So my apologies and I hope my 5-star review makes up for my short fuse. read more

Oh my gosh! Amazing, had such a bad luck day, lost my only car key, Eric was fast and reliable, and a great price. I even have a spare now! I've never owned a spare before so very thankful for this locksmith. read more

Exceptional service! Went in to have an extra car key programmed and they were amazing. New key works perfectly and he didn't charge near as much as a dealer tried to charge. HighLy recommend this place for ALL your key needs!!!! 5,000 gold stars read more

Nice folks, not quite up to date on some of the newer stuff though. (Automotive wise)

Former owners were real old school locksmiths that knew their stuff. The new ownership has a woman working there with no clue about making keys. Had to revisit three times to re-tool keys that did not fit the lock. I was told that maybe I should come back when the owner was there sometime in the afternoon. Really? I don't think I'll be coming back at all. read more

Truly knowledgeable and professional service. Not only were they able to program a new set of remotes for my old Toyota Highlander, they were able to fix the binding key lock for the driver side door which hadn't worked in years. Prices are very reasonable. read more

Awesome place! Went right in with my chevy car keys and fobs they cut and programmed them for $100 way less than what the dealership wanted. Great customer service. read more

Great service! The lady there helped me with a new key for my truck after mine broke off in the door. The key was very worn so making a new one that worked took some time but she was very patient about it and took the time to help me out! Definitely worth taking your business there! read more

Great local locksmith with a knowledgeable staff. Called ahead and asked for a custom key cut and by the time I got there it was ready.

These guys replaced my mailbox lock while I was away and left the keys and receipt for me just as scheduled. Much appreciated!

Awesomely nice woman, I went in there with my weird 1960s trunk and she opened it for free. They don't make keys for them anymore but it took her one minute. Merry Christmas! So nice to have generous friendly community businesses. read more

He came out the same day and fixed my failed latch efficiently and expertly. Very knowledgeable. I would recommend!

Great customer service, locally owned, years of experience. What else can you ask for? I'm a happy customer!

Reeds Locksmithing is my go to for any of my door lock needs. Fast and courteous service in addition to efficient and excellent work. Thank you! read more

This business goes the extra distance. My key ring was stolen including a key to a 20 year old file cabinet. I asked Reeds what it would cost to re-key the cabinet and they were so helpful. Ended up they could look up the cabinet model and make a key from the spec's for a nominal cost. We were both delighted with the result, rather than me buying a new file cabinet and moving everything + disposing of the old or them visiting my home and having to charge as much as a new cabinet would cost. How wonderfully old fashioned! read more

The only place to get keys and other lock needs taken care of. Always great service. Carl is the key whisperer!! I had issues with the locks on my car and the one key I had. HE took such great care and made the perfect fit for my door key and my car key. Such awesome customer service. Don't go anywhere else. read more

Fast service! I was in and out of this place, reasonable prices too. I didn't give 5 stars because my key copies sometimes have issues opening the doors...could be our locks though- hard to say! read more
