I owned my own Studio here in Onalaska for some time, and I am very PROUD to be a member of the Onalaska Music Academy! The owner, Lynn, is VERY professional... and I highly doubt that Jay's negative review has any merit. I have been teaching there now for a couple of years. Lynn is a very gracious, caring and thoughtful instructor and colleague... who runs a very tight ship. The level of professionalism, and attention to quality instruction is what drew me to the Studio in the first place, and is why I have continued to teach there ever since. She is very particular about the quality of person she takes on as an instructor, and has high expectations of the those whom she is affiliated with. (My guess... is that Jay F., simply was not a good fit for our learning community?) We have quality instructors here, who teach a wide range of students, regardless of age, race or creed. I hope anyone who reads this will check us out, and see all that we have to offer. It is a great learn, and we are making beautiful music happen here.

Reuben talked us through bows, targets, arrows and their shooting range room. You can shoot targets for two hours for $12, if you also need to include bow rental, the two hour price is $25. We thought two hours was a bit much and he even said the kids get pretty tired before two hours.... Surprisingly he said even my younger nephews would also be able to rent the target range! Rueben also talked us through their selection of targets. Who knew there were so many options? Archery Country was a great find. We will definitely be back once we find out more what he's looking for and likely to bring him to shoot in the target room. Not that we looked at them but I was surprised to see there were a few fat bikes on display when you came in the door. A lot of great inventory to peruse and accessories. Thanks Reuben and Archery Country.

I took the watch back to JCPenney where we had purchased it from and they advised us that they'd have to send the watch in and it would be $40 to $50 and take several weeks. They suggested that I take it to a jewelry store. I took it to a store in the LaCrosse Mall and the young lady working told me that she always recommended, "Clocks off Main", to people who needed watches fixed. I drove straight to the place she referred me to and was promptly assisted by the owner, Joe, who was able to fix the watch in less than 5 minutes and only charged me $10. Joe was very personable and easy to work with. I would highly suggest taking any watch or clock you need repaired to Joe. Anne J.
