Very uncomfortable place to live unless you stay inside all the time, don't ever need maintenance help and don't have kids. Would not recommend.

I have lived here for almost 3 years and in the last several months my neighbor has wakened me at 6:00 am with an alarm that has gone on for up to 1 1/2 hours. (I'm retired; I don't need to wake at 6 am) I have recorded this alarm several times and played it for the management, on property, who says there's nothing they can do. Even though the lease says, "3.1 RULES AND REGULATIONS 16. No musical instruments, radios, televisions or phonographs shall be operated in a manner that is disturbing or annoying to other Tenants, nor shall ANY disturbing noises be made at any time." Like seriously... this place is kick ass. 24hr gym, beautiful salt water hot tub and pool, trails around the place to walk our dog.... It's perfect. I travel often for work and this place is a perfect location to get on the highway to head west to GR or east to Detroit. I obviously can't speak for other peoples experience.....but looking at this other review on here is INSANE to me. This place is always clean, public grills always have a tank full of propane, residents respect one another, and the quarry takes care of their customers. If you can afford it...DO IT

You'll like it if you DON'T have a pet whose food dish is on the floor inviting ANTS (hundreds) for 3 of the 4 seasons. Oh sure, the Quarry will offer to spray poison in your kitchen to kill the ants. No thank you. You'll like it if your water pipes don't burst in the winter. Yup, it happened! And we were out for 53 days- very disruptive. They didn't care. You'll like it if you don't mind dog poop everywhere on the grass. They ask residents to pick up their dog's poop, but I wonder if residents get angry at the true lack of compassion from DTN Mgt and don't comply. Either that or they are not good neighbors. So if you don't mind being treated like trash when a REAL problem occurs, you'll certainly enjoy their superficial "niceness" in the meantime. And BTW, this year's rent is going up by $1,560. We are definitely moving out. No second year for us. But other than this, you might like it.
