We've had experiences with many contractors over the years. Electricians, plumbers, general contractors, etc. It is sad to say, but it is so frustrating to find an honest and trustworthy contractor. Often times, they quote you an exorbitant price, upsell other services/products, and leave a mess or unfinished work once they get paid. Mitch has repaired our pipes after the February freeze. He also helped install new flooring to our attic space, and completed several projects for my in-laws (flooring, roofing, water heater replacement, drywall repair). We finally found our handyman! He is communicative, courteous, and extremely trustworthy. He completes his work from start to finish with the utmost detail. I mean the level of detail that is usually reserved for one's own home or close family members. It speaks to the man's code of ethics. He believes in honest work at an honest price within a reasonable timeframe. His prices are extremely fair, that is not to say cheap or expensive, but fair for the quality of work being done. I plan to continue to work with Mitch for any and all home repairs that are within his capacity.

TCB demoed and totally remodeled the original bathroom. Gutted it all, repaired, and replaced the rotten floor, re-sheetrocked, all new plumbing and electrical and painted. For an incredible price. TCB has done a complete kitchen restoration for us, including more rotten floors and neglected plumbing. They installed beautiful cabinets, Butcher Block counters, Saltillo tile floors, and a beautiful back splash. Our hardwood floors started buckling so we decided to get them redone…read more Shaun and his crew were so great. He kept in contact with us the whole time.. His crew worked all hours of the day until the evening for 3 weeks. We replaced our subfloors and had original hardwood floors which they salvaged 60% of the original floors. We decided to go with a lighter stain rather than the dark that we had, and it makes our small home look so much bigger. We also replaced some joists, pier and beams from our crawl space and they cleaned out our crawl space and put plastic down to encapsulate it with new vents that open and close with high or low humidity levels. They cleaned up all the leftover mess of wood and bricks which was much appreciated. It was a big job and everyone worked super hard even on the weekends. The price we got quoted from 4 other companies were ridiculous, and Shaun had the best rates for what they did. I recommend Stable Foundation and Construction to anyone wanting work done on your home. They did an excellent job on our home and we enjoying our new pretty floors.

Expecting the usual good service I contacted them over a leak near one of the vents in my roof causing damage to my kitchen ceiling. They sent a young man down to examine the situation, and after a cursory look said he would send an estimate and could take care of the problem. Interestingly he was reluctant to go into the attic where you could clearly see the problem ( I think he was concerned he might get dirty as he was smartly dressed). It has now been 10 days and nothing has been sent. Several phone calls to the office have been met with assurances it would be sent (though the tone of the individual who answered the phone made me feel I was not being taken seriously). It is really a shame when a company who has previously been very good declines like this. As an additional note I noticed they have three Yelp sites, two with bad reviews and one with positive reviews - I intend to post this note to all three.
