My parents were members here and last summer I did a nice wee tournament that was as much fun as it was connecting with family friends etc. Now, I've got my golfing buddy hooked on this place and look forward to coming back and visiting Kevin and eating the wonderful food again. Nice fairways, good elevation. Challenging holes and lots of fun. My son hit his driver on the second hole par 4 on one shot for an eagle putt when he was 14. Very relaxed atmosphere without being rushed through the course. At the turn we stopped for lunch and it was incredible. I had seared ahi tuna tacos that were some of the best I've ever had. You don't think north Idaho and great tuna tacos but I was pleasantly surprised. The course itself was very challenging in a beautiful part of northern Idaho. The pins were set I. The most difficult settings for a tournament they had the day before which made it that much funner. I will definitely be back next season. Be sure to bring extra balls.

This course is way over priced, I've played way nicer courses in many other towns & countries and not payed that exorbitant price, they should be ashamed of themselves! Apparently it's under new ownership, just looking for a fast buck and to heck with the locals, who do you think will support you when times are tough..........?...... We played on a Sunday in June, beautiful sunny day, which is out of the ordinary for Crawford Bay, it rains a lot there. Due to the extremely high price, the place was all but empty except for the 4 groups that I was apart of. We're all located not too far from Crawford Bay and asked if they had a reciprocal rate with other local courses, they said no and that no they longer have any members and therefore no reciprocal, in other words they're counting on tourist money, we'll good luck with that! The course wasn't in great shape, terrible weeds growing in the fairways and the 17th tee box for instance was disgusting, there was hardly any grass on it. I don't understand how they can justify the prices, yes, its beautiful scenery but that only goes so far. They used to have decent rates and if you were local you could get a bit better rate so you didn't mind playing a few times a year, now, with that attitude I don't care if I ever play that course again! As I said earlier we had 4 groups, we usually have 6 groups, it's been an annual golf outing for the last 25 years so way to go Kokanee Springs (Pinnacle Resorts) you successfully pissed off 16 people and potentially 24 for next year, sadly we won't be back!

After waiting over 2 hours one came available wereas we were told it was reserved for a person that was not even at the location at the time. I was present when the staff made a call for this person to come to the course as a cart was free. Unbenounced to the staff I know the person they called at home and he lives aprox 45 minutes away. Unacceptable that we had to stay there for a first come first serve when they simply call this person at home for his cart reservation. And the fact that we live out of town as well. No valid explanation given when I questioned same. Was told "sorry we are a small town operation with limited carts" although I would have liked to play this course my family will not be recomending this course to fellow friend. Guess I'm just a small toy boy that came back from the large city to visit family and am not as important as your friends.
