Good was amazing and the service was awesome! Little loud in here for us but worth going to for the food and service

We went to Red's for happy hour. It really never disappoints. The person answering the phone said they don't take reservations for the patio, although we call ahead all the time. When we got there we sat on the patio and the vibe is always fun and casual. We ordered appetizers and happy hour drinks. The Spicy Chicken Thai flatbread is always delicious. We also ordered the chips and queso/chorizo. It is so so good. No picture of the flatbread as we ate it so fast. Lena was our waitress and she was delightful, attentive and sweet. read more

My sister suggested we try Red's for a late lunch. Their large dinning area is spacious and clean. Tje server was attentive and gave great recommendations. We ordered the Pork Tenderlion, Grown Up Grilled Cheese and rhe Wacky Patty. It took a little long for our food to arrive but it was well worth the wait. Pork Tenderlion was a little on the small size but tasty. The Wacky was delicious and the Grilled Cheese. Sides are ver6 tasty. There is an astounding slelect of beers offered. Both draft and bottled. After I asked the manager if the kitchen was short staffed, as the food took a littke long. Alex stated that they had a limited staff at the tome as most had been on break. As we were on our way out, Alex presented us with a gift certificate for the delay. It was ver6 unexpected but greatly appreciated. Overall, our experience was very good and I will be recommending this establishment to my friends. Well worth the time to head out to enjoy the fares this establishment has to offer read more

Almost 30 craft beers on tap! Food was great, and it was a lot of food! Service was amazing! A really helpful server. The place was clean and fun too. Only bummer was they ran out of my beer and instead of a 10oz pour I got 5oz. But it was sooooo amazing. The highlight of my drinking day a boozy imperial stout read more

Food was very poor to inadequate small steak came out dry after asking for MR and asked for veggies as a side. Those came out undercooked and cold. Got a replacement steak still not cooked to perfection and the veggies on plate were kept on table getting even colder. If you are going to offer good food, do it right! Make the meal something worth coming back for. Going to be extremely picky with my $$ moving forward and seek farm to fork chefs read more

The drinks are plentiful and cheap, the bartenders are absolutely wonderful, and the vibe is unmatched. You could go for a date or to meet new friends. The food is great, and I could easily spend a whole day here. Thank you Reds for taking good care of me!! read more

I've never had a bad meal here and if you love traditional buffalo wings they have the best! Atmosphere has good energy!

The food was good. I rated a three because I paid cash and they still added a convenience fee and a package fee. I asked another person in the group that paid cash and they had neither of these upcharges. The waitress couldn't be found, so ended up going away dissatisfied and not wanting to return. I would assume the packaging fee was for asking for a box to take leftovers home. Again, this fee was discretionary as other at the table that ask for a box weren't charge the additional cost of a package fee. 5.5% extra added to a cash tab isn't cool. read more

The perfect stop when out for a bike ride has to be Red's Alehouse! We sat outside on a beautiful day but have also dined plenty of times inside before too. We got their veggie flatbread and Bloody Mary on this day but in all the times I've been here, can't go wrong with much! Especially the Bloody, best I've had in a while. They have deals all week including happy hour so check that out! Pro tip: get the salsa verde on the side, it's delicious with a lot of their breakfast items. ⁣Service staff have always been great and quick, too! read more

Again we took our Grandson to Reds for our favorite burgers. Our server Kaylee ( I hope I spelled it correctly) was amazing and just spot on. Good spot to hang with the fam or homies. Our waitress was nice but food took a while to be served. BUT the food was flames. The margherita flatbread was amazing, the fries were crispy and delicious. Great service seating and taking care of a large group. The garlic knots were ok - could have been more garlicky. I did a beer flight, great selection of Iowa beers. BBQ burger was delicious but my son who eats these everywhere said it could have had more sauce. My other son had carnita tacos - meat was too dry, cheese was clumpy, and shells were soggy. I had an American burger with side of Mac. Mac and cheese was creamy and homemade, burger was perfectly cooked and I could not eat the large size. All in all, we were happy with the restaurant and would recommend (just not the tacos). read more

Red's is always a solid choice for everyone. They have a wide selections of items to please every taste bud. There is also a great patio area that's perfect for summertime. One of the things I love about their menu is all the burger options can be done with a chicken breast or a veggie burger. The Fahrenheit 319 is a must if you love spicy foods. It doesn't look like your typical hometown he bar but rest a sure it most definitely is. Probably one of the best happy hours in North Liberty ! You will typically want to call ahead because the place fills up fast and if it's a nice day make sure you sit outside underneath the beautifully hung lights. It's bustling and busy and the servers are great. I ordered their raspberry basil refresher cocktail along with The bruschetta and tuna wontons. Everything came out hot, delicious and nothing felt rushed. Definitely stop here for your post work happy hour! read more

I love, love, love Reds Alehouse. I've been here many times and keep going back. My friends and I are craft beer nerds which is one attraction, but the food is good also. We are totally in love with the table side fries. The red pepper gouda fondue they pour over them is the bomb. The rest of the food is good and I've never actually had anything bad. The venue is warm and cozy with a great outside patio. The staff has always been superb. Helpful and friendly. read more

We've been coming here for 8 years when going through Iowa, and have always ordered the cheese curds. Which were the BEST we've ever had, including Wisconsin cheese curds. Mother's Day. I carried two kids for 577 days, give or take. Then there were hundreds sleepless nights, four straight YEARS of truly heinous diapers, thousands of messes and then everything else I've blocked out... I think it is safe to say I deserve a brunch with mimosas (plural)-- once a year. End of story. Ok, ok. Motherhood is a lot of awesome things, too. Please don't think I am complaining! Not at all. My kids are my biggest accomplishment and I'd do it all again. (Maybe not the four years of diapers.) ... Anyways, I am just describing why I deserve a yearly bottomless mimosa and a leisurely lunch with my loves. And this year, we did Red's Alehouse. We called in advance to make a reservation. A table already served with fruit, rolls and salad greeted us with a complimentary mimosa shortly behind. THANK YOU. While we didn't know it would be a pandemic version of a Mother's Day buffet, we were pleasantly surprised! I love how they avoided an actual buffet and just brought their offerings family style. French toast, cheesy potatoes, eggs, veggies and a smorgasbord of meats were inhaled. Not only that, a table side mimosa station was ordered. A bottle of champagne and carafe of orange juice for $20. Not bad! I'd love to say we were clean plate club members but dang! That was a lot of food. The cheesy potatos were set in front of me and I'm not even ashamed to say I kind of just ate out of the blow like a troff. YUM. Kid's loved the French toast, ham and bacon. Service was both efficient and oh so cheerful. (I think I was told Happy Mother's Day a handful of times before I made it out the door... to unbutton my jeans. Because damn, that was a lot.) Ambiance is casual, parking is a non-issue, pricing is on point, patio is bomb. Reds is a fabulous NL option. read more

I want to support Reds. They have good cocktails and beer, their patio is one of the best in the area. But they've lost my trust as I've been doing mostly takeout. I've tried to order takeout multiple times this year and each time has left me wondering if it's worth it to try again. One time my food was a half an hour late, one time they didn't make half the order, and every time I have to repeat myself multiple times because the staff can't hear due to noise. read more

This North Liberty, IA bar is a good one to stop by if you're looking for good food and for a great selection of craft beer and for a good selection of gluten-free beers. How have I not yet reviewed Red's Alehouse!? Red's is tried and true and not to be missed for their AHMAZING 2 for 1 Happy Hour deal, especially if you are a beer connoisseur. They have a lot of craft beer options both on tap and bottles. They also have a great patio for the summer months! Their food is solid and the brussels sprouts appetizer can't be missed and their Asian Noodle bowl is delicious and a large portion which means perfect to share or take home for leftovers. The service is always great and I feel like all the servers and bartenders go above and beyond. Red's is also a great place to catch a game with lots of TV's on the bar side of the restaurant and a projector on the non-bar side. So if you are in North Liberty looking for a great spot to relax and catch some rays or just a game Red's is the place to be (especially if it's between 3-6pm). read more

Had an early dinner. Enjoyed the boneless wings, wedge, salad and burger with fries. Ahh, Reds... what a North Liberty staple, that place where maybe everybody doesn't know your name, but you feel like they do. The atmosphere, staff, and especially food is always top notch. It's best going when the place isn't packed (which is hard to determine, since this place is always booming). Reds has been around and will be for a long, long time. read more

Brunch menu is only available on Sundays. Otherwise fantastic service and a homey atmosphere. Tons of TVs and lots of people cheering on the Iowa hawkeyes. Red's is always a wonderful place! Great food, great happy hour specials, and the best patio in town!

2 1/2 stars. Went during musical karaoke. Music almost made us leave it was so loud. And I'm a metal fan. Cost per portion was out of control. 2 meals here cost as much as 3 at mickeys the night before. Food quality was great just not enough. We sat in an area where we could feel everyone walking around on the floor. Honestly go to Mickeys and get the better deal then Reds. Lots of changes need to be made before I'll go back. 4 frozen garlic knots warmed with marinara cost 11 plus tax. The outsides were piping hot and the insides were cold. Sorry no thanks. read more
