Dr Max Higbee saved me 20,000. by being an honest & knowledgeable dentist. I needed teeth replaced, six different dentists told me I Had To Have Two implants among other things.. I didn't get any estimates under $20,000. and told the work would take close to a year to complete. Also, I had a tooth that felt weird... I mentioned it to other dentists and they didn't see anything. Thankfully I found Dr Max Higbee! The first thing he said when looking at my exrrays was, "you have an absested tooth!" Had a new patient apt today at 10:15am. Got there at 10am to do paperwork. At 10:46am, still waiting in the waiting room, I told them I would have to reschedule because I didn't realize it would take this long for a cleaning. The front desk was rude and said my apt was at 10:30 and I was scheduled til 12:30pm. Not sure why I wasn't even seen almost 20 min after my supposed scheduled apt or why they couldn't access my recent X-rays from my prior dentist to save time and money. I previously received dental care from a clinic in Redmond and after I had work done I notice my teeth were so sensitive and it hurt so bad. I decided to get a second opinion at Redmond Dental Group and boy did they impress. They found the root of the issue which in turn was incorrectly done by the previous clinic AND they fixed it for me no charge to ensure that I wouldn't be double charged for a service that wasn't done right in the first place. Terrible experience. Matt was very condescending and unprofessional. I felt very uncomfortable and could not wait to get out of there. He was extremely judgmental and arrogant and has no clue of how patients should be treated. The assistant did not make the experience better by assuming it was the money that was keeping me from getting the services done there, when really I did not want to spend the money for the service from a disrespectful dentist. They made sure I paid for the $10 X-ray before I left though. I've gone to Redmond Dental several times in the past years but I will never go back and will be sure to let my friends and family know of this experience. Worst dental office. I went in to have a broken tooth looked at when I first moved here a few years ago. The front office staff wasn't very friendly and when I was taken back to the chair it got worse. The dentist never introduced himself the tech was absolutely rude. They looked at my tooth, told me how much it would cost to fix and that when I got different insurance or a better paying job I could come back to have it fixed. Needless to say, I sat in the parking lot crying after I left because they made me feel so worthless. read more

Worst dental experience I've ever had! Never once did Dr. Max explain to me the procedure he was doing or did, I caught what I could of his conversation as he talked to his assistant a little about what he was doing before, during and after my surgery. A couple teeth extracted and a root canal all in the same visit. I was sent home with no antibiotics or pain medication. Woke up the next morning with an infection that sickened me to the core. Was told that the poison from the infection could have been life threatening as it could have went to my brain. Charged over $3000,00 dollars just to be put through hell. I now have a scar on my upper lip, a jaw that hurts when I yawn or move my mouth a certain way, a partial that they said would be permanent which is not, he filed down two teeth on either side and one was an implant, so he messed that tooth up so I could wear a removable partial that caused another infection because it does not fit properly. My husband had a totally different experience which he was pleased with and that's why he referred Dr. Max. He is not a friendly guy and runs some of us through like they do in puppy mills. Follow the money! I am now seeing another dentist who is awesome and is working on finishing what Dr. Max started. Added that awful picture of my post surgery infection just to clarify I was not exaggerating my disappointment in the lack of service I received. WORST experience ever! Maybe he's more caring and gentle with his regular adult patients, but I had to take my 6 year old son to him for an emergency. NEVER EVER EVER take a child to this man! ZERO compassion, completely cold, uncaring, I would say even mean, AND he almost forgot to ask ME if he could actually do the procedure he had already started. And those were the ONLY words he spoke to me throughout the entire HORRIBLE experience! I have never felt so disrespected in my entire life! I had an issue with a tooth from years ago and went to this dental office to get assistance. With the amount of time that it took for them to get me in to their office my back tooth had actually broke in half and I had to have it removed! The original date of service was 8.2011 and now I am just being billed for this crown that I did NOT even receive, because my tooth broke in half!!! I called the office last year to get a check up and because I have OHP it took them MONTHS to get me in for a basic cleaning. With all the reminder calls and myself calling on a regular basis asking if I could get in any sooner (which was NOT happening because of my insurance) it finally came time for my long awaited appointment and when I get to the office they then tell me I have a balance from 2011 and that I have to pay it upfront before I can be seen. THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME OF HEARING OF THIS BALANCE!! So I was then turned away again from this office for proper care, making me wait even longer for proper dental care. This office did not even inform me of the balance and that I couldn't be seen if the balance was not taken care of. Now as of January 2016 I am receiving my FIRST bill of the crown I never got nor the knowledge of the balance 5 yes 5 years later. I called to get some information about this and the lady at the front desk was so disrespectful in saying to me we wont have statements to reflect their office attempting to advise me of this bill, also saying that you (me) knew about this balance and you are to honor this balance. Which I fully agree BUT I DID NOT KNOW ABOUT A 5 YEAR BALANCE!!!!!!!! I told her that I work and have worked in a medical office and I could not believe how rude and disrespectful she was to a former patient or any person calling to resolve an issue. I explained that I had filed bankruptcy in 2014 and she got very snappy and said " so you didn't include this balance"? We NO I did not include this balance because I never have received a phone call, statement or even sent to collections for a 5 year old balance and now they send me a statement a week!! I lost a tooth because of this clinics negligence, and now they want me to pay for a 5 year old crown I no longer have a tooth to place it on!! My whole family has removed their care from this clinic because of the care and staff! The worst clinic I have ever encountered. read more
