Through Lowes recommendation My family and I also used Redmond construction,LLC We had a patio and security screen door installed on 11/16/20 After reaching out to Redmond over a two week period expressing major issues as follow patio door sloppy interior caulking, chipped molding,small metal piece protruding from upper left corner. Owning the house 285 miles away can be tough if something goes wrong. My brother and I co-own a house in Bullhead City, Arizona. Our mother lives in that house and the day before we drove down to visit her the wooden fence cough fire. There is field behind our house and the fire department said that someone probably tossed a light cigarette and cough the weeds behind the fence on fire. Our State Farm agent in Bullhead City (Paul Bull) contacted a contractor he deals with all the time. Redmond Construction was the contractor he suggested an being that they thought the cost would be about $1,200 Paul also advised that we don't file our first claim because our deductible was $1000. My brother and I were only down for the weekend and I did not get in contact with Redmond Construction until the Wednesday of the week of our return back to Pasadena. The person I talked to on the phone was Kerri Hatz and she was very nice and professional. She e-mailed me the proposal / contract and the total cost to rebuild the fence. The total came to $1,321.46 and included the removal and replacement of 50 feet of damaged wood fence, removal and replacement of ~150 feet of damaged 2" x 4" rails, removal and replacement of 4' x 6' gate (Including hinges and latch). I told Kerri that our next visit was going to be for 4 days on Mothers Day Weekend and I asked her if she could have the job done before that weekend. Do to the company's schedule they said that they would start the job a week an a half before our visit. I told her that would be great. The job was slated for the morning of May 2 at ~ 8:30 AM. I called my mother on my lunch break and was surprised to find out that the job had been completed in a little over 2 hours. My mother told me they did a great job and removed all of the burnt wood. Kerri and the owner came down on Saturday May 12th to collect the money for the job. My brother and I paid in cash. All three of us were so happy with the quality of the job and how personable they made us feel. I can't believe Redmond is in business!! They are the worst contractor I've ever seen!! They hardly ever show up and when they do it's for a short period of time!! Our HOA had a fire over a 1 1/2 years ago, Redmond was hired and last year in April Redmond said they would have the repairs done by July!! Oh hell know, still not done, not even close!! These poor people with out a laundry facility for over a year!! They keep blaming it in two doors they ordered! Well why is t the rest of the construction done!! And to top it off their representative was supposed to come to our last board meeting and they never showed up!! They are horrible and liars, hire street thugs. Stole my wedding rings then lied about the day worker they picked up that day to do unlicensed work. I filed a police report but was given false last name of the day worker. Took them 9 months to remodel a 2bd 2 bath. I lived in a hotel and am handicapped. Residence of this resort, relied on a grand room for all their entertainment, and for laundry room for all their washing but not now. Redmond Construction just installed a house full of Windows and Sliding Doors in my BHC house that I bought from a great associate Paul at Home Depot and they did an awesome job! There are still some screens missing that are on back order (no fault of theirs) so they will return to install them but I am so impressed! They cleaned everything before they left and everything looked so beautiful I felt it was the best home improvement investment I have ever made! Horrific experience...w this company Bullhead is a one horse town they dominate monopolize all construction work in Bullhead Hopefully new companies will come thru this growing city....Lowes sub contracts with them the were to complete kitchen renovation. The 1st installer broke the drawers!!!..could not drill a hole in a drawer to install hardware..he started cussing became hostile...we asked him what happened he yelled at us "so what do you me to do" we said fix it..he took the drawers never saw him again..2nd installer months later came in...and stated that 1st guy never installed cleets...to hold up counter....and he forgot to put in the plywood before installing the back of the cabinets to hold up counter ..he left never to be seen..3rd guy came in months later took notes..never to be seen...Lowes Fired this company but they have some of our equipment to finish our job..they won't respond to any phone calls. I went to Home Depot to purchase a door and 2 windows for a bedroom/bath remodel and paid $35 for Redmond to come out measure and provide a proposal for the work. Their sales representative showed up, we discussed the job and he took the measurements and provided the proposal to Home Depot. I accepted the proposal and paid for the materials and labor through Home Depot. My materials arrived and I called Redmond to find out when the work could be performed. At that point I was advised by Paige that the larger of the 2 windows could not be installed and required structural engineering. I spent a day looking for an engineer and found all the local engineers were too busy to take on such a small project and subsequently cancelled the larger window purchase/installation. Not once did the sales person or any Redmond representative contact me to advise as to this issue!!! I scheduled the remaining window and door installation for today. The Redmond employee showed up as planned and advised upon his arrival that the scope of work did not include the framing necessary to install the interior door and that he was only to install the pre-hung door and retrofit window. The Redmond sales person knew of the work necessary to complete the job and failed to advise that they would not do the framing. I expected that the salesperson had estimated the work based upon his inspection and the conditions that existed. NOT BASED UPON other parameters I was unaware of. Worse of all they failed to communicate any of this information!!! So here I am 6 weeks later with the materials and no contractor to do the job. The employee that showed up today stated I would need the door framed before they would do anything.... any monkey can install a pre-hung door and retro-fit window... I received no benefit from Redmond and they have now waisted my time and sat on my money for 6 weeks without doing any work. Unfortunately I trusted Home Depot to help me get my job done. I performed and paid for the work in advance and now have nothing to show for waiting around 6 weeks... I'm still at square 1. Terrible customer service and communication from Redmond. I blame the company for failing to disclose that structural engineering required or their limitations with installing the door and window. I blame Home Depot for being more interested is selling materials than providing good customer service. I am not a contractor and relied upon the expertise of those who should have known and/or communicated with me... what am I going to do now??? I still need the work done. Had to demand the final estimate for what we we're getting done. Made the appointments week in advance yet, the day of the appt. I had to call and confirm someone was coming. I regret the day I hired Redmond Construction to build a patio cover. I signed the contract in May, 2020 and they finished in April, 2021. Twice they came out to measure where the support columns would go and twice they got it wrong. There was one delay after another. If you don't care how long a project will take, then go ahead and hire them, but I wouldn't nor would I recommend them. read more

I came from Vegas to AZ just for a door and trim measuring appointment. These fools didn't even show up. And to make it worse, Home Depot (who they're contracted with) told us that Paige (the scheduling secretary) told them that their measuring guy came to the house. What a flat out lie, and gladly Home Depot even had my back and told Paige that there was no way the guy came out because I called Home Depot four minutes after my appointment time to see what was going on. I'm already dealing with my house being broken into, all my furniture stolen and my house vandalized, and Paige KNEW this. And I had to drive two hours out the way to attend an appointment for no one to show up after even waiting for five hours for someone to call me back. When I called for the first two hours, Paige "allegedly" and conveniently stepped out the office and I was told I'd get a return phone call. After me calling in every 30 minutes, this of course did not happen. God knew what he was doing because if I didn't have to leave the area at a certain time, Paige and I would have had a conversation face to face. If you ever have an estimate to get done, and Redmond Construction is to do the work, go elsewhere. Home Depot is good only if Home Depot does the work. read more

On the morning of the appointment, in the middle of our appointment window (8-10am), Paige called and said we needed to reschedule. Set up appointment for two days later at 7:30 am. At 8:20am they are a no show. We decided that if this kind of service we were going to receive before we even had an estimate, what would the work be like. Would they even show up to do the work? Redmond was contracted by my insurance company to fix a water leak at our vacation home in Bullhead City, AZ. we only met him once, the insurance adjuster made him redo the ceiling in the main room due to using wet drywall. As we don't live there full time and I'm not a contractor he simply patched over the areas as the adjuster didn't come back again to inspect. Currently I have a remodel being done there and behind the wall and in the ceiling Redmond was supposed to repair there is mold due to the lack of replacement of wet wood and drywall. This guy is a snake that will half do anything you aren't personally there to inspect. Stay away or get ready for the headache later. read more

This review is a long time coming. My mother owns a vacation condo in laughlin and we noticed the balcony was soft and spongy. I set up an appointment for an estimate from Redmond construction on a day that I was going to be in from California. Not only was the estimator on time he was very nice and professional and gave me a couple options to choose from to fix it. While they were fixing it it rained really hard and the gentleman that was working on my balcony, Brice noticed there was a roof leak. They notified me right away and he even found the leak . I contacted the HOA and they had their contractor out to take a look. I also came to see what was happening with the roof leak and was pleasantly surprised the see that Brice had taken down the damaged Ceiling and stapled plastic on it and made it nice and neat. Remember at this time he was there to only work on the balcony. The HOA called me a said yes there is a leak in the roof that they repaired and they saw that I already had a contractor out at my condo so they suggested having Redmond Construction to just go ahead and fix the drywall in the ceiling and send them the bill. I called Brice to tell him to go ahead and fix the damage caused by the roof leak and was shocked when he told me he already fixed it,he already fixed it!!!!! I couldn't believe it. Not many people in the construction business go above and beyond in this manner. I told him to send the HOA the bill so that his company could get paid for the work. I was just totally amazed but the workmanship and how professional this company was. Brice went above and beyond to help me out they did great work and my condo was so clean you couldn't even tell they were there or that any work was done. I would defiantly recommend this company and I hope that Brices bosses know what a valuable employee they have. I wish I could give more stars. The guy with just fence repairs count your blessings you didn't have any house repairs. We had a garage fire on 2/10/16 it is now 6/12/16 still not finished (should have taken at the very most 1 mo to do) . The drywall work and painting that was done looks like crap (tried 3 times to fix ) still looks like crap. They would come out for a couple hours a week and spend most of the time talking and making a big sunflower seed mess in my yard . We went away for 11 days hoping everything would be done when we returned NOPE. I would not recommend this company to fix a dog house the dog wouldn't live long enough to enjoy it. -5 stars I have to give them a star or I can't post this . read more

I recently had a new furnace installed, and they did some damage to the drywall around the crawl hole. The company contracted Redmond construction to make the repairs. I asked them to do another small water damage repair in the same room at the same time. They did the job, and I have never dealt with such an accommodating company. Everyone I worked with was professional, courteous, proficient. I highly recommend this company to anyone that needs to have some work done.
