It's a friendly and warm environment, but best of all they have great teaching. Lots of parking, free coffee, friendly greeters and very comfortable seating. LOVED IT!

Years ago, this church was known as Family Church when Pastor Dave Ansell was leading. Back then, it truly felt like a family church in every sense of the word. Life took me in a different direction, and over time my faith drifted. Recently, I've been searching again, and that Sunday felt like it mattered. It felt like the day I was supposed to come back. We arrived excited, as a family, ready to worship together. As we walked in, I considered checking our kids in, but my younger children have never really been away from their mother and were not ready. Instead of forcing them, we made the decision to stay together as a family and attend service. That's when things immediately felt off. We were directed away from the main auditorium and told to go upstairs into a separate room to watch the service on a TV. It felt isolating and honestly like a punishment for having children. Worship is supposed to be about unity, not separation. Trying to make the best of it, we went back downstairs to enter the main auditorium. That's when we were stopped. My wife explained that our children are well-behaved and would not cause a disruption. An older gentleman then stepped forward and said, "We don't allow kids in here." We were turned away, in front of others, with our children standing there. It was embarrassing, disheartening, and honestly shocking. I couldn't help but think of Matthew 19:14, "Let the little children come to me... and do not hinder them." I also thought about the message every church promotes: "Come as you are" and "All are welcome." That is not what we experienced. We were redirected, restricted, and ultimately rejected. This church once felt like a place where families belonged. When it was Family Church, it truly lived up to that name. Since then, it has been rebranded multiple times and is now called Boundless Church. Ironically, the first thing we experienced were boundaries. This was a moment that mattered for me and my family. It could have been a turning point in reconnecting with faith and community. Instead, we left feeling like we did not belong. Very disappointing experience.

A place where meaningful connections are made, friendships are built, and lives are changed. Years ago, when I needed a helping hand, someone from this church was there for me. Today, that same person is a leader in the church, and his friendship reminded me that I had a solid foundation to come back to. I'm truly grateful for FREEDOM city church, the people, and the atmosphere it brings every Sunday. It's more than just a place to worship; it's a place where you can find genuine connection, encouragement, and a sense of belonging.

Instead, I encountered scenes depicting trap houses, gang activity, abortion clinics, sex trafficking, vanity, and hell. I found the presentation disgusting and deeply disturbing. Whatever spiritual message they intended to communicate was completely lost. A church should be a safe place where people can feel God's presence and find hope, compassion, and guidance. I left feeling misled and disgusted. Using sexual exploitation, violence, and fear to deliver a religious message does not make that presentation appropriate. Young people deserve more than to have their lives reduced to extreme portrayals of crime and exploitation. Families deserve to know exactly what they are walking into before paying or entering. The noise was also inconsiderate to the surrounding neighborhood. A church should show respect for the people who live around it. I paid for an experience I felt was misrepresented, and I consider it a waste of money. Calling something ministry does not put it above criticism. This was an awful experience, and I will not be returning.

My daughter wanted a church close to her reception, Smarts Banquet Hall, that was traditional and had wide front steps for her wedding pictures, and was affordable. She found just what she was looking for, PLUS the added bonus of being married by a truly caring and gracious Pastor. Pastor Lane and his wedding coordinator were so wonderful to work with; patient and efficient as well. They kept things moving along at the rehearsal and the wedding (I'd say it would be a lot like herding cats with our family), and things could not have been smoother. We had a very large room upstairs to dress for the wedding and got some nice photos as she descended the lovely staircase. This church has a lot of beautiful wood and stained glass windows. It has been very well cared for over the years, however it could use a very generous benefactor to help with future building expenses. The main part of the church is spacious but feels very loved, cozy and spiritual. We attended one service several months back before booking the church, which was a traditional type service. Even though many congregants were older, I was impressed by how Pastor Lane honored the few children during the service, while also honoring the elderly and past congregants by pulling out seriously old group photos and giving us all a brief history. He is a youngish pastor, with great energy. We heard about the church from my other daughter, who attends a non-church related Healing/Medation group meetings held there some evenings.
