I was let go from a job I had held for 13 years in Jan 2020, right before the COVID issue began and made a tough job market that much tougher. I was uncertain how to present myself since I wore so many hats and felt a bit undefined in any one role. After getting to know me a bit, Donna and the team at Personal Touch helped re-write my resume and cover letter based on my marketability and then re-worked my LinkedIn profile based on the newly formatted "me" structure. Donna coached me in interviewing skills and even held a mock interview to practice for specific jobs. She was responsive all along the way to any email or phone questions I had about upcoming interviews and jobs and within 3 weeks of hiring them on to help me, I was gainfully employed. I sincerely thank them, and I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for work and who doesn't want to settle for just any job.

Navigating a job search takes strategy, reflection, and support, and unfortunately, I didn't feel there was much empathy offered throughout this process. We had four sessions, and I'm planning on continuing with him since what I was able to accomplish in just over a month surprised both of us! One of the insights I gained working with him was that being in action with my primary vision is itself motivating and confidence-building. Doing nothing just kept me spinning in fear and doubt. But getting content out there, noticing how people responded positively, and feeling the gratification of producing something worthwhile - from my heart and soul - was a big boost to my energy and motivation. Now I'm actually inspired to create mediocre work! LOL, I know that's the secret to overcoming perfectionism and procrastination, recognizing that iterating with refinements over what began as mediocre promises to get closer and closer to greatness. I'm deeply grateful for Sasha's support and I highly recommend him to anyone who wants to change their life.

Not only am I accomplishing more, I feel I'm getting more control over my life, and as a byproduct I'm developing a more positive outlook about myself and what I can accomplish.
