Do NOT go here for suboxone treatment. I was referred to him by an addiction counselor and hands down, worst suboxone doctor I have dealt with. I have been on suboxone for 2 years and decided to leave my last doctor due to him pressuring me for additional medical treatment (like endoscopy's and ultrasounds...even though they could never give me a reason why. I don't have stomach issues and my blood work was normal) Anyways, I made several phone calls to this office to inquire about services and A LOT was left out and not mentioned to me. I was told since I was currently on suboxone, I wouldn't have to pay the initiation fee and would only have to see him monthly. I ran out of my meds early (because I was stockpiling them from my last doctor because I wanted OFF suboxone and he wanted to keep me on so I was tapering myself. Made it about 6 months without seeing a dr so you can just tell by that how much I was being over prescribed and how serious I was. I dropped from 16mg to 2mg on my own) When I arrive (Which by the way I live in Murfreesboro and have severe driving anxiety so getting to his office was a nightmare for me) I went over with the front desk lady about what my counselor told me and refused to hand over the $450 to her until she promised me that the doctor would do PA's. Without a PA my script it $600 which is over half my monthly income. They assured me oh yeah, yeah, we do that. I MADE THEM PROMISE THAT TO ME BEFORE I GAVE THEM MY $. Lies. As soon as I was taken to the back, Dr Reedy deemed me in withdrawal (Yeah. I told you that) and wrote me a prescription for FIVE PILLS. FIVE PILLS FOR $450 DOLLARS. You can get it cheaper on the streets and that shows right there how messed up that is. He told me I would also have to see him IN PERSON weekly for $150 for the first month. He told me he was unable to write me a 30 day script because I would relapse. Uh...how can you say that when you have literally just met me and I've been getting 30 day scripts for 2 years? I have not relapsed since started suboxone 2 years ago. He also told me I had to get on birth control (oh yay another bill I can't afford!) which was left out to me when they were telling me the rules over the phone. I use condoms (with my 5 year fiance), to which he replied "That isn't 100% effective" I told him my boyfriend is a BC baby (which is true) and I just spent 2 years trying to figure out why my periods are irregular and so horrific and am currently paying off 2k in medical bills with still no answer and was deemed infertile. Dr. Reedy didn't care... He also had me spent 4 hours in his office. He spent at the most 25 minutes with me and then had the audacity to tell me "I SPENT SO MUCH TIME WITH YOU BE GREATFUL" not those exact words but that's where he was coming from. Anyways, I go to the pharmacy with my 5 pills to get myself out of withdrawals and they tell me the doctor won't budge on the PA. I call them & they tell me they NEVER do PA's. They lied directly to my face. I never would have been a patient if I had known that (and straight up told them that) My mom is a big wig at an insurance agency and was concerned about why he was avoiding the PA's so bad. She told me a lot of sketchy doctors do that because they don't want to get in trouble with insurance for doing messed up crap. I spent all weekend in withdrawals (Even though I told him it makes me suicidal. The last time I went through bad withdrawals over 8 years ago I tried to kill myself & was in a coma for 8 days and almost died...) Eventually I couldn't take it anymore and paid out of pocket even though my meds would have been free with insurance. The most alarming thing he did is that I am also prescribed xanax. I am aware most doctors are not okay with that in sub programs and told him I obviously needed to taper off it. He did nothing. He told me to stop taking it cold turkey WHICH COULD KILL ME. Right when he said that I knew he had no idea what he was talking about. That's the thing. I don't think he was being malicious. I think he is completely uneducated on addiction and all they have to do to become "specialists" to prescribe suboxone is to take one 8 hour ONLINE CLASS. Kind of crazy when you think about that is all that is deemed necessary to treat one of the worst & hardest addictions Stay far, far away from him if your looking for sub drs. I cannot comment on any other treatment he does but anyone who tells someone who has been on xanax daily for over 4 months to quit cold turkey is a lawsuit waiting to happen. He is going to kill someone someday or cause someone to relapse as he obviously isn't educated on these drugs. I am trying so desperately to get help off this medication and am literally being screwed from everyone directly. He was by far the worst I have ever seen. Luckily, I have a new doctor who seems to know what he is talking about. If you are considering this dr for suboxone, RUN!!! RUN FAR AWAY! read more

AWESOME DOCTOR AND STAFF! Whether it's primary care or specialty services he offers, I have never had a doctor that treated me as well as Dr. Reddy and his staff. As a patient and as a person they have always been a pleasure to deal with and just sitting in the waiting room you will figure out the same as every patient I have seen leaving his office always leaves with a smile, and I must say the only Dr. visit I have ever looked forward to was visiting Dr. Reddy's office. Dr. Reddy is the most Amazing doctor for Suboxone treatment. I have been seeing him for over a year. Dr. Reddy is an very important part of my recovery team and he has changed my life. I do not normally respond to someone else's review, everyone is entitled to their opinion. In my opinion, Rachael V. put out so much information that I believe is false that I want to address it. Opiate addiction is very serious and Suboxone is a serious treatment. Anyone who "stockpiling" Suboxone, tapering off on their own, going without seeing a doctor for 6 months, and running out of meds early is not participating in a legitimate attempt to recover and would be a red flag to any doctor. "PA's" are prior authorization from an insurance company. I believe this office offers this service after one month. It is very reasonable for them to wait a month before investing so much time and effort. Dr. Reddy has a lot of patients that he sees as a primary doctor and he files insurance and prior authorizations every day and to imply that he could be doing something "sketchy" and doesn't want to get caught doing "messed up crap" is ridiculous. The doctor I saw before would not hear the word insurance, for his services or the prescriptions, ever. I have had one other doctor compared to the many mentioned before who she is "...Being screwed from everyone directly". At some point it is not ALL of the doctors who you have seen that are the problem, it is you. I want to address the cost of the prescriptions mentioned before because I don't want people who need this treatment to be run off by it. All I know is that without insurance mine is half of the amounts she quoted. I don't know of any responsible doctor who would give a prescription for Zanax to a patient taking Subxone. Taking benzos of any type are very dangerous with Suboxone. It is my opinion that if she had an addiction to Zanax that could "kill her" if she stopped cold turkey, she should address that before taking Suboxone, not demand that she be given both. Please look at the other reviews that Rachael V. has left and decide for yourself. Dr. Reddy's staff is wonderful. I have pretty bad anxiety too and I have trouble driving to Nashville from Smyrna each month, like the previous review. If Dr. Reddy and his staff were not so wonderful, I would dread it every month. They work with me and do everything they can to help me and it is greatly appreciated. I had to have back surgery 6 months ago and I was very scared about it but Dr. Reddy and his staff helped me through it all. Dr. Reddy knows about addiction, can tell when somebody is serious about it, and can help you have the life you didn't even know you could have again. Dr. Reddy also has an awesome therapist that works with him, Tom, who is another major part of my team. I will never see another doctor for my Suboxone treatment and when I am ready to taper off, Dr. Reddy will guide me all the way. When I have completed my Suboxone treatment, I would love for Dr. Reddy to become my primary doctor. Like I said before, he is an amazing doctor. read more
