It's been years ago, but my mom went to Dr. Reddy only because her previous Gynecologist had retired. She had to go in for a check up/pap test. She told me that Dr. Reddy was one of the worst doctors she'd ever seen. First off, she told my mom how fat she was which at the time my mom probably only needed to lose 15 to 20 pounds. Then during the exam Dr. Reddy was very rough, and shoved the speculum in without using any KY gel. My mom told her that it was hurting, and Dr. Reddy just ignored her. Listen to the reviews. Worst OB doctor ever in Merced County. No respect and belittle patients. Very unprofessional and does not care about the patients feelings. Told me and another lady that we are "TOO FAT" WE EAT TOO MUCH RICE AND BEAN. Just because we're Asian and Mexican. What doctor would say such thing? Take your hard earn money and insurance elsewhere, where doctors are professionals and treat everyone equally. She deserves a 0 rating. read more

If i could give 0 i would she is the worst doctor I've ever been to. She is degrading, told me I'm over weight. Made me come in and get a Pap smear every time i wanted my birth control prescription renewed and I started going to her when I was 16. You aren't supposed to have one until 21 unless you have suspicions. Do not go to her for anything. read more

Dr. Reddy has been my Dr for over 10 years. She is very direct with her medical advice. She let me know that I needed to make changes & I did. She doesn't sugar coat the truth but I don't go to the Dr. for kind words & hugs. Dr. Reddy listens to your concerns and gives honest feedback. I made positive changes and at 56 years old I feel better than I did 10 years ago when I met her. I give 10 stars to Dr. Reddy and recommend her to anyone wanting to know the truth and make positive changes. read more

This doctor Reddy is Rude,period... I'm only 30 lbs overweight and with discust, she told me and my mother ( who tagged along to my appointment) that We were BOTH so fat!! AVOID AT ALL COST THE WORSE DR. I have ever been to in my entire life. I am not an emotional person by any means, and I walked out of my appointment early, crying. She is the most degrading, disrespectful and unprofessional human being I have ever spoken with. I was referred to her after being hospitalized for a partially ruptured cyst that was internally bleeding into my pelvic cavity. I had a follow up ultrasound which I went to, and then had the pleasure (not) of meeting with her. One of my main issues has been extreme weight loss, abdominal pain and non stop bleeding. She never asked about my diet or exercise, but told me all of my issues are because I eat unhealthy and don't workout. I told her at least five times I DO eat extremely healthy and I DO workout. I am currently a stay at home mom with two toddlers. Somehow, me not having a job is also the reason I am sick. Her exact words were " You are too young to be sitting around all day doing nothing." "You are too young to be going to the Dr. constantly and worrying all of the time" She made me feel like a bum and a hypochondriac, when in fact I am an extremely active mother who had to rush to the emergency room when I was in so much pain that I couldn't walk. Every appointment that I went to after that, was a follow up appointment that I was told to go to by the ER doctors. She never listened to any of the answers to questions I gave her. She re-asked the same things over and over again, but blamed them all on me not eating, eating unhealthy and not working out. I'm not sure why she chose this profession because she has zero bedside manner or compassion. There are many great OBGYNS in the area, so I would recommend any one over her. I have never written a YELP review, but this experience was so horrible I felt compelled to help someone else avoid such misery. read more

At my first appointment, Dr. Reddy questioned my weight and told me to stop eating out and start exercising (I exercise every day, eat healthy and I'm within the recommended weight range for my height). Not to mention, she also gave me some very terrible "healthy eating" tips. I also overheard the staff talking badly about other patients. At my second appointment, I showed up 15 minutes early and was told that it would be easier/cheaper to send my RX to the pharmacy, rather than getting the shot at the doctor's office. The receptionist told me she would send my RX in immediately and that it should be ready that afternoon. When I call the pharmacy, they had not received any RX for me. I called back the Dr. Office and I was told that they would take care of it- after they take their lunch break. I will never make an appointment with Dr. Reddy's office again. read more

One thing that a lot of these smaller businesses should pay attention to is not only how they treat their patients, but who they are. I go to the UC, I have a bunch of friends who are graduating and may be looking for a doctor....if I get the worst treatment of my life, WHY would I recommend you to anyone? I wouldn't send my worse enemy to this place. The front desk lady rubbed me the wrong way from the minute I walked through the door. I had a gut feeling that I should leave....but I didn't. Then I met the Dr.Reddy herself and she was rude too! Instead of hearing that I was in good health, I was told that if I ever wanted to be married I should lose weight. -__- I didn't know we still fat-shamed in 2017, but thanks Dr. Reddy. Hands down the worst experience. First off, the staff is incredibly rude and dismissive. I called and asked for access to my lab results and they said it was against policy to give them to me (I'm in my third year of pharmacy school in Chicago). They then said that I never signed a HIPPA release form and they would not be able to release the records to me. Yet, every doctors office, dental office and pharmacy usually has you sign a form upon service to ensure that you as the patient know what the laws are and how your information can be released, and I recall signing the form upon check-in at the desk. Having access to a doctor shouldn't be difficult. Having access to your own information shouldn't be difficult. Dr. Reddy is a sweet doctor, but her staff ensures that I will never return to this office ever again. Not only was I treated disrespectfully for no other reason than me asking for my own personal information (while remaining respectful and professional), I was hung up on. As a future pharmacist in the Atwater/Merced area, I would never send a family member or loved one here and I will not recommend/refer my patients to her office either. Please do yourself a huge favor, and avoid this office at all costs! read more

I have been seeing Dr. Reddy for a couple of years. I recently let my prescription lapse because I did not realize it expired. Having a 4 year old and being a full time student and working full time, it slipped my mind. I called and requested a 1 month extension so I would have time to see a doctor. She refused. This prescription was not for narcotics and was one I have been on since I was 16. Apparently she wants the money more than the patient. read more

Worse experience of my life. I have an ongoing condition that may develop into cancer and have been going here and dealing with the attitude and unprofessional staff for years and finally I just cannot take it anymore. I had the billing person throwing out numbers of how much things would cost me none of which were accurate and was billed hundreds of dollars then told she never said that so basically I made it up. Every time I called the women were rude and disrespectful and kept asking me if I want to cancel my apt almost like they were trying to get rid of me. I've never felt so disrespected in my life and I myself work in the medical field and with patients on a daily basis. I would never treat people this way, when someone has a medical condition and is worried about treatment or billing you show compassion, never would I treat someone like a piece of garbage because they are asking questions and want to be informed. Horrible experience and I would advise everyone to stay away. People like this shouldn't work in the medical field period. read more
