I'd encourage you to ask other residents and they'll confirm the same issues with JMC & Co, the management company. Example 2: The grills have been out of service for 4 months (April 17 - today). Ask yourself how any management company would let this happen? Example 3: JMC & Co has cut costs by eliminating the promised on-site emergency maintenance personnel. Instead they have one individual on call for properties located between Boston, Plymouth, and Providence. If you're locked out at 10pm and are second in line you'll be waiting hours to be let back into your apartment. This happens regularly. Don't rent here until you get something in writing in your lease about hot water downtime and on site emergency personnel. The prices are way too high for what you get. You are much better off at the Pinehills in any one of their properties. Hope this helps someone. Sean

PLJ Carpentry reinstalled two sets of exterior deck steps for me last fall after they were removed…read moreduring a patio project. The company wanted to schedule the work for around 5:00 PM. I specifically told Allan that I was concerned the job would be rushed if it started that late and asked him to make sure quality wasn't sacrificed just to get it done. He assured me multiple times that the work would not be rushed and that everything would be done properly. Unfortunately, that's exactly what happened. The steps were essentially slapped back together with little attention to detail. Boards were misaligned, gaps were inconsistent, and sections of the steps were installed directly against the shingles instead of being properly fitted and finished. After I raised concerns, Allan promised the issues would be corrected and personally assured me everything would be made right. Based on those assurances, I gave the company a second chance. After the crew returned, communication stopped and my text messages went unanswered. When I eventually returned home and inspected the work, the steps were in even worse condition. The PVC decking was scratched and damaged, and the installers drove screws directly through the decking without properly pre-drilling for the matching plug system. As a result, the holes couldn't even be plugged afterward, leaving an unacceptable finished product. In hindsight, I should have terminated the project after the initial installation and walked away from the deposit instead of giving the company a second chance. Unfortunately, the corrective work was worse than the original installation. Based on my experience, I strongly recommend using a different contractor.

My husband flew out for showings in January and she took him out in snowstorms for 2 full days since he couldn't reschedule for better weather. When he found a home he loved, she went to work trying to make everything come together for us. There was much back and forth because a developer was also interested in the property. Tara worked tirelessly on the deal and communicated with us frequently, sometimes multiple times a day. When our offer was finally accepted, she kept calling, making sure that everything was going well as we made our way to closing. Everyone she recommended to us was fantastic. She has a great network. I flew out to sign and what a delight to meet her in person! Tara is warm, friendly, detail-oriented, and a great communicator. We went to the walk through and she was great at finding things we hadn't noticed and getting the information we needed to make a sound decision. At the signing she made sure I had everything I needed. And afterwards we walked over to Cape-abilities, a charitable thrift store to look for furnishings, and then over to her office to meet her father whom she works with. She even gave us a lovely old table and chairs from storage at her home. So much awesome shared space that can be utilized in so many different ways. The decor throughout is so well thought-out and seriously beautiful. I enjoyed sitting in the nice chairs and reading, the espresso machine, the well-stocked gym, and even the pickleball court. Sadly, the pool wasn't open due to lifeguard staffing issues, but everything else was awesome. They also host lots of events and gatherings for the residents that are always well-attended. So happy that my parents are living in such an awesome 55+ community. I would move here in a heartbeat. 25 years to go!!
