This place is a secretssssh. OK, ok, I will tell you lot. The bakery is set in the rural picturesque grounds of an eighteenth century working Watermill close to St Albans. Organic stoneground flour is milled on site from grain sourced locally, then used to bake the most tastiest bread which has ever passed my lips. They produce such a huge range of organic breads and speciality goods that I was spoilt for choice, in the end after spending 20 minutes drooling over the vast selection I opted for the Pumpkin Bread and (swayed by it being fresh out of the oven) cheese and onion loaf. Delicious! The knowledgeable crew including a master baker that run this fantastic little place are welcoming and super helpful, it's always a pleasure stopping by.
