This insurance group is great when providing quotes or selling you insurance but absolutely terrible if you cancel any policy. We sold our house in June and it took a full three months to get a refund on our homeowners insurance premium (around $2,000) and still haven't received a flood insurance premium refund after four months which is another $2,000. Still waiting!! Yesterday I canceled our renters insurance and was told that they'd send an email to initiate a cancellation of that policy. Again still waiting!! Insurance companies sell a "service". It is not a tangible product and that being said if I were you I'd take my business elsewhere.

After several attempts to contact Milanes' offices with no success, I had to take it upon myself to shop around other insurance companies. Fortunately, I am now saving $48 a month, about 33% savings with the same coverage. To make things worse, we wrote Mr. Milanes an email regarding the inefficient customer service his staff was providing, explaining to him why we were leaving his company and no response. Luckily, companies like these don't last very long. There are too many insurance companies out there...stay away!
