This lousy business is poorly run with bad business practices, on many levels for many reasons, which I will gladly list after a run-in with the store's "CEO." If you want to feel taken advantage of and robbed, with buyers remorse after the credit card is run, shop at Red Zebra. Their policies are ultra-restrictive with regard to returns and they do not follow Federal Law with regard to their gift card policies. The sales people are charming enough, though extremely pushy with their hard-selling approach... Being a Miami Beach resident, I know the three stores in this group well, and they are all the same... with clothing marked up 30% or more above regular retail prices. In the dressing room you can google their merchandise and find the exact items and their actual retail prices. Be especially aware of their Diesel, True Religion and Stone Rose which are highly marked up. For example, a Stone Rose shirt (LAS3103) I found on a website for $142.50 and $154.00 on the Stone Rose site was for sale at Red Zebra for $179. The same is true of the jeans... where I found a pair of the same new Diesel jeans (Larkee-Relaxed WASH 0087W7) at an online denim for half the price Red Zebra is pushing them for. I can't fault them for trying to make a buck and I don't mind paying retail sometimes, but Red Zebra's outrageous pricing isn't my main problem with the store. I received $539.28 worth of their clothing as Christmas gift on 12/24/2011 and returned most of it for a "gift card" on 1/7/12 in the amount of $340.26. When I returned with my mother to use it a couple days after Christmas 2012, one of the managers (blondish guy who still works there) told me that the "expiration date" of 1/7/2013 was unimportant and that I could use the credit at my leisure since I didn't see anything I wanted. When I returned to make a purchase mid-May, the salespeople seemed clueless and said they needed to get the manager... The sames blond guy came out and said it was invalid and that he needed to get his manager. The manager came out with his phony charm and big smiles, trying to tell me that I was a valued customer, but that I must understand that he could not honor the $350 gift card. Did he expect me to walk away, losing $350??? Anyway, I told him about the new Obama laws that went into effect on August 22, 2010, that prevent retailers from their thievery (at least in the gift card department) and that I planned to get my attorney involved (my partner). He seemed not to care, saying he tried to call his attorney in from the store's office. Here is what the new Obama law states with regard to gift cards: "Under the new law, gift cards cannot expire for at least five years after they were last loaded with money (unless, of course, the full value has been used). These policies also must be "clearly and conspicuously stated." The Fed's new regulations let issuers choose how to accomplish this -- either by making the expiration date five years away, or with prominent disclosures that point consumers toward their replacement cards. In addition, the proposed rules prohibit "the imposition of any fees for replacing an expired certificate or card to ensure that consumers are able to access the underlying funds for the full five-year period." Stay away from this place... there is good shopping everywhere in Miami. I love to support small business, but unfortunately, malls are the safest bet, since small shops tend to take advantage of shoppers who are not in the know of prices. read more

Just had dinner with the wife when I suddenly gazed upon a dress worthy of a Hollywood Diva in a boutique shop window. Noticed my wife had walked ahead and I thought let me take a pic of the dress for reference and swing by later without the wifey to pick it up as her Christmas gift. Unfortunately, I was immediately assaulted by the Red Zebra sales clerk for taking a pic of the dress, "NO PICS SIR!" Are You Friggin' Kidding Me!! Purchased jacket didn't notice it was damaged. Tried to say I wore it. Jacket was returned untouched. My birthday already dressed have picture original dressed 5 locations with pictures and lyft driver also verify. Never touched jacket. Was left in friends car. Delivered back to me at 8pm next day. If you're clothes shopping on Lincoln Rd, you're either a tourist on vacation or a local on staycation, but in either event you know you're in a good mood and you know you're going to pay a premium, because you're patronizing a store on one of the best pedestrian malls in the country. Red Zebra stocks clothing that you know you're going to look good wearing, and if you're unsure about something there's going to be a really good looking salesgirl in a skimpy outfit who will make you feel great about your purchase. Sure, the prices are higher than if you bought online or at the mall, but you're paying for the experience and the adventure that you won't get elsewhere. read more

After spending $10,000 in this store both my wife and I were shocked to experience the poor quality of merchandise sold here at such high prices. They assured of the quality of the items and since we were from out of town told us that if anything happen to "just give them a call and they will take care of it". Well the pictures attached is of a $250 shirt with these crystals clued along the sleeves. Mari, the sale girl, assured me that they were "high quality and would not come off". Unfortunately the first night I wear the shirt many of them just fell right off. Very Embarrassing. The worst part is when I called the store and spoke to Mari again the service was even worse then the quality of crap they sale. You figure you spend $10,000 in your store you would honor a simple issue like this by replacing or refunding the customer but instead they demonstrated poorest management I have ever experienced and showed they have no value for their clients. I will be dealing with my AMEX to get this refunded. Do yourself a favor and don't fall for their lies. They try to be high end but they are nothing short of hype. read more

Very pricey for the quality of clothing, but hey thats how almost every shop in South Beach is. I would of given another star if the clothes were cheaper or of atleast made of better quality, because I found out they really jacked up the prices of what the clothes/shoes are worth by 50-75%. I absolutely love the dresses, how they cling really tight and they fit amazing, but the dress soon fell apart after a night clubbing and two washes. The sales people know how to pitch and were very helpful though about putting together outfits for me. read more

Very bad store! Bought a shirt for 190$ and it was too little after the first wash with 30 Celsius (86 Fahrenheit). The Manager was very very unfriendly and agressive when I came back and he threw me out without a reclamation. At the moment I'm living here in Miami and this is a store I will never visiting again. I was treated very well at red zebra. The woman who waited on me had sales down to an art. She was good at putting outfits together. You can look at this as pushing you to buy, but I am thin and hard to fit. I'm not great at putting pieces together. She was great at it. They pitched 50% off, which equals marking clothing up to make you think you're getting a deal. Still, I like my purchase. It fits well and is definitely not something I would find in Pennsylvania. Not really high quality, but that is reflected in the prices. You get what you pay for. read more

Soho Miami and Red Zebra with two return policies to ensure they can stick it to you on the back end when inevitably the item you bought proves its lack of quality and overall cheapness. Mine item started falling apart after hours and paying over $130! If you make the same mistake as I did shopping here, FILE on your credit card! One of my favorite shops on Lincoln Road. This is the only shop in South Beach that I have found that carries my absolute favorite designer Mark Wong Nark!! Wow his dresses are to die for! They are definitely expensive but if you ask nicely and shop there frequently, I'm sure you can get a deal ;) I've come to know most of the salespeople since I'm in there so much and they are always kind and professional, offering me water or champagne as soon as I walk in. I don't know if my story is unique, however., while visiting Miami, I purchased a particular DG shirt and a substitute was placed in my bag. I had to courier the shirt back to the store, only to received a substitute 3 sizes too large for me, this too was couriered back to the store, now they do not have the original shirt and refuse to refund my money. The female Manager at Soho was VERY rude when I called, indicating it was Friday and she did not have time to talk to me!!! I had just spent over $900! in that store just a month ago and still do not have satisfaction with this issue. In other conversations with this store, I was told I would be looked after and satisfied - this is far from the case. I am quite dismayed at the service and response from the managers and sales personnel and quite honestly, have never experienced such dismal and unprofessional customer service. read more
