If you love Red Wings Boots/shoes, this is a fun stop.
My husband was freaking out a little. He's obsessed with his Red Wings.
We ended up purchasing a 10€ tin, camping mug to take home as a souvenir. It had the red wing logo and "Amsterdam" underneath. A cool find.
Also - very cool shoe display! Just a fun thing to check out if you like Red Wings or are ready to spring for a quality pair of shoes! read more
I have been waiting a few years to get me a pair of Red Wings, the team there of Mitch and Mitchel were great and extremely helpful.
If you need a pair of the best boots, go to Red Wings in Amsterdam worth the wait. read more
This is a really nice, neat looking store in the "negen straatjes" shopping area. The one guy working there is pleasant. The pull on boots they have on display all appear to be the same boot but in different colours. There are subtle variations due to different soles or something else I didn't see. They have an interesting display above the boot section of older discontinued boots that appear to be used. I guess this was some kind of show of pride in their product as to it's longevity. I had already shopped Red Wing online looking for the type of boot I was interested in buying as well as checking prices. I was well aware that pricing in the "negen straatjes" is higher because it's a touristy boutique shop kind of area where customers willingly pay high prices. The prices in the store of the items I was interested in seemed higher than online though I'm not certain. Exit stage left. I smiled at the guy working there and said "thanks" then left closing the door firmly but quietly behind me. read more
