I'm a sneaker connoisseur, and kind of a Puma devotee. I haven't worn Adidas in years, but was on…read morevacation in Amsterdam and was so entranced by the window displays in the Adidas Original Store that I went in to take a look. After browsing for a few minutes, I took a photo of a cool shoe that I planned to post on Facebook. An angry salesperson came over and told me that photos were not allowed. I said, OK, and deleted the photo. Then I asked why photos were not allowed. Angry Salesperson told me that no photos of merchandise are allowed in any Adidas stores and that it was because they didn't want people stealing their designs. I said, OK. She said, "I have that same phone as you; show me that you deleted the photo." I was like, OK, here. She then demanded to see my iPhone camera roll. Several thoughts about this experience: 1. After my interaction with Angry Salesperson, I will not be wearing Adidas products in the future. 2. I have nearly 1000 Facebook friends, many of whom like sneakers. So Adidas missed out on an opportunity to have someone post and praise their shoe. I think it's very likely that at least one of them would have gone out and bought sneakers with their name stitched into the sides (which was the shoe I had photographed). 3. Really, no photographs of stuff in Adidas Originals stores? Anywhere in the world? I could understand if I had, like, infiltrated their secret design lab in Bavaria and taken photos of sneaker prototypes scheduled for sale in 2015. But this was just a regular Adidas Originals store; I've been in several this year in the United States and in Germany. Anyway, so, #adidasFAIL. I'm going to go put on my Pumas now...

My husband and I went to this store on a Saturday and it was PACKED. I'm shocked at how full a…read morestore like Adidas could get. There looked to be two sales people helping in the downstairs area while they both had to run up and down the stairs to get shoes that people requested. With so many people, I would have though more people would be working. But the people who were there seemed helpful enough. You had to find someone and ask for your size, but I almost expect that in Amsterdam. But we waited for a long time to be able to talk to someone and then there was a line to even talk to him again to get the box of the shoes we wanted to buy. We did leave the store with a pair of shoes, but it was more out of necessity than because we liked the store. Of course we found a store with more variety and not owned by a major brand closer to home when walking back. But you live and learn, right?

The cut is a little bohemian; casual looks, wide fits and smooth colors. Inside the shop you are welcomed by mother and daughter. They were both very helpful and kind. By the counter sits a little adorable chivava, licking his paw..! I tried on a few cardigans and a pair of loose trousers. I have been looking for nice, yet comfortable clothes for a little while, and this pair was my rescue! Black, smart looking trousers in 100% viscose, and the loos fit and high waste makes it a perfect everyday work and pleasure wear! For the quality, the price was decent, and you definitely feel it's worth it. I will for sure come back when next time in Amsterdam! Good service, lovely atmosphere and amazingly cute chivava gives shopping an extra pinch of charm..

Beautiful clothes!…read more This is the brand's first store - besides their webshop. Their collection comes in two lines: the Everyday line and the Today line. The Everyday Line is all about essential basics, and the Today Line is more about contemporary items and very stylish. The clothes are of really good quality for such a fair price, and that is what really got me! The style of the collection is always refined and minimalist, and the shapes and lining are great. The service in-store is great, super helpful staff. The brand also sells many fine accessories and small items. The second floor of the shop is a "demin studio" and it's all about jeans! They might be opening stores in Antwerp and Berlin in the future!

I saw a Cartoon Dress being wheeled out to a sidewalk display & soon as I saw this dress, I knew it had to be MINE Noting where this shop was, we returned that afternoon & there was a huge crowd & a waiting list for the dressing room - an actual waiting list I loved this concept - the girl helping us took my dresses so we could continue browsing & then she came to find us when it was my turn to model my finds That cartoon dress was sheer awesomeness! I also found another 1920s-style dress that was hand-beaded & too lovely to pass up Best part is that they participate in VAT free shopping so I got my taxes back! Happy to also find out they have a website & ship all over the world so I'll be keeping my eye on this shop going forward!
