I had a bit of a "diamond in the rough" experience here today. I've been hunting everywhere for a specific style of jeans, and after checking countless other stores, I finally found the perfect pair at C&A! To top it off, the price was incredibly great. They really do win when it comes to affordability. The only downside was that the size selection was pretty limited, but to be fair, it is late in the season so I expected things to be a bit picked over. The store itself is very large, but it definitely feels a bit worn out and dated. It honestly concerns me that it isn't better maintained, and it makes me wonder what the future holds for this location. I needed to purchase some black socks for work, as well as buy a hat/ cap. My last cap/ hat from C&A was awesome (pure wool, made in Italy and a lovely colour!) so was hoping to strike lucky again. Alas, I struck out as the cotton socks I wanted weren't available for women (but oddly enough were available and in stock for men) and the hats/ caps they had - eh, none of the styles were ones that I liked. I do think this was a very well set out store. Its on 3 levels with ground floor for women, middle for the kids and top for the men, so easy to find stuff as its categorized so well. The cashiers are located towards the back of the store, behind the elevators in the women's section on the ground floor. It was easy on the returns too, as I was able to return another set of socks that I had purchased, but when I got home realized their quality wasn't to my taste.
