Run by a man who clearly loves selling top-notch booze to discerning customers (and passing trade for that matter), Red, White, Rose lives by the adage that says, if you're going to do something, do it right. More than a plonk-stop, it's the rich variety of ales that really impresses. There's a stellar selection of Indian pale ales, heady with golden hops, plus some of the darkest, baddest Belgium beer tasted on these shores. Like a vintage record shop, these fizzy numbers come in at a premium, but then we're talking about serious quality here, so there's really nothing to complain about. With wares this good, the fellow behind the counter obviously knows his stuff and is only too happy to help the flapping novice. Hell, there's even a lad there purely on bagging duties.
