One word- WOW! I love the new owners and their progressive…read moreand fresh approach to this local staple in Cape San Blas. Scallop Republic is a popular haunt for so many reasons. I feel comfortable and welcome here, whether I'm coming off of the beach or I'm dressed up and enjoying a night out. I originally visited the Scallop Republic during the Singer Songwriter festival, Blast On The Bay. The first time I visited the venue I knew that it was a place where I could have fun and be relaxed, while enjoying the local atmosphere and vibe. I am excited about the wonderful transition that has happened. This intimate music venue has fantastic bands. In addition, they have many large screens that you can watch your favourite team play. Last night was the Lilies For The Fillies, Pink party. Although I didn't eat, there was an amazing spread of food. I cannot wait to see what transpires from this point on. In addition to being an intimate music venue, it also has so many other additional spaces. The inside is intimate, but this venue also has large outside areas with fabulous views, as well as the covered underneath section, which offers a reprieve from the sun. They also have lots of popular outdoor games. Tonight was an incredible event, and also a fundraiser for breast cancer. Big shout out for tonight's musicians, Bo Spring Band, amazing! I look forward to all the other future events.

My wife asked to sample two of the 13 taps of beers they had and he told her "this is going to be the last sample, this is getting weird " We came early to enjoy the music and have a couple of beers but one was more than enough. The music was good. We are from Atlanta and enjoy coming here every year. I think I'm done! I'd rather spend my money elsewhere.

We hadn't eaten so we decided to try it. All I can say is "WOW"! Give me a board with fresh cheese, meats and sides and I am in heaven. Their boards do not disappoint. We also ordered the whipped cheese spread with baguettes. It was so delicious we asked the chef to come out so we could compliment her. The mixed drinks are delicious. Try the Old & New which is a copy of an Old Fashion. They have many wines and beers also. Our Burgunbarrel experience was so good we went back the next day to have another appetizer (deviled eggs), the Mama Mia board, and split a sandwich. Again, delicious, great service, and as great as the day before. Burgunbarrel is now in our top five for Panama City! Excellent addition to the beautiful St. Andrews.

We ordered a couple of boards and a few bottles of wine. The boards were good, but not quite filling enough for a full dinner for our group. The bartender was also serving tables, so service was a bit limited and we often had to get up and go to the bar since check-ins at the table were infrequent. Our table was also on the smaller side, which made it a little crowded once the wine and boards arrived. That said, we would absolutely go back -- especially as a date night spot for just the two of us to enjoy a glass of wine and a board as an appetizer while listening to live music.

The Muse has a great atmosphere and is a small intimate bar. The decor is well done even in the restrooms. The staff are chill friendly and intelligent. With 15 people in my party they were able to keep the separate checks well organized. Impressive! There was some live background jazz music performed by a bassist allowing conversation simultaneously. Great time there!

We thought it was fantastic the first time, but even better the second time around. This is a great hidden little spot. The atmosphere is great, small, intimate and very attractive. Both times there was excellent live background music. The first time we had a bass player, last night a vocalist. Both were excellent and at a level that allowed for conversation without shouting. The waiter Brandon is very attentive, extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The wine selection is excellent. Best of all is the charcuterie choices are tremendous. We ordered the medium size (two meats/two cheeses) both times and came home with a to go box. The artist doing the trays does an amazing job. Each includes grapes, nuts, chocolates, cracker etc. Well worth speaking this place out and giving it a try.

Something has to be said if a place is open for more than 100 years. And was impressed for a small town restaurant. Nice decor, good service, and impressive food. Fresh Catch of the day: spinach, artichoke, tomato, balsamic rice, lemon caper sauce. Fish: Red Snapper (catch of the day) (or last weeks catch but frozen) I forgot to take a picture: what they got right - the ingredients shown on the menu. They got this perfect. Fish: not so much. They have access to the freshest fish in the world, and that poor slab of fish looked pan seared on a dry pan, unseasoned, and I'm pretty sure it was frozen up like a hashbrown patty. Thank goodness for all of the other ingredients which helped me get down the rest of it. Desserts: mousse cake and pecan tartlet. Mousse cake definitely very rich and dense 3 out of 5 Pecan tartlet with icecream - 5 out of 5 Service was nice and Ambiance they had both inside and outside seating. It was ok
