The call got me the actual mechanic, who admitted he had been…read moreavoiding me because he had fried the electronic board on my sewing machine so it won't work at all. My email didn't get a response. I was far more annoyed by the continuing avoidance issues than the need to replace the machine. The repair guy made some promises about trying to fix it and getting back to me. No surprise, it's been a month, and it's more avoidance. It's sad, because I'd love to buy a Bernina to replace my old machine, and this is the closest dealer. I obviously won't be coming back here.
