You get $20 worth of free points towards your next purchase plus you also get points for every arrangement/bouquet you purchase online. What I like about Incredible Florist is that they have free delivery. The store also has instore specials of a dozen roses for $9.99! I would phone first to see if they have roses in their store. Also, Incredible Florist has 3 other stores - 2 others in Calgary and another in Cochrane. Customer service is great! Very polite and courteous service. I would highly recommend going elsewhere if you're looking for high quality flowers that will last more than two days and for good customer service to save yourself a headache. With their pricing listed as "Ultra high end" you are left with dollar store vases that they charge $6 for and flowers you can arrange yourself. I especially want to warn other customers to look at other reviews (ones not already deleted) of the terrible experience others have had as well for poor product quality. I have had such a terrible experience with Red Rose. The first time I purchased a pre-arranged bouquet in the back room which wilted the following day. I didn't think much of it since I didn't know how long it had been in the back room for. Also I had picked these up for a hospital visit but they wouldn't allow us to keep the flowers in a shared patient room so I took these home and two days later so much had fallen off I had to throw them out. The second arrangement I special ordered, I called them to see how long it would take to make one if I came and picked out the flowers. Initially I was told it would be preferred if I looked online and when called back after I picked an arrangement online and asked to incorporate some lilies as it was a gift. The girl I spoke to told me it was best if I just came in. I let her know I was hoping to take it with me the same day and I was reassured it was no problem, just about a twenty minute wait if they were not busy was the reply. So when I arrived at their store I explained what I was looking for, even showed a picture off their website. The girl at the counter automatically reverted to convincing me to pick something from the back, and since I had a bad experience the first time I said I preferred to have one made. A woman who was doing arrangements was called to help me out and she said she was unable to do it since the price of the arrangement I shown was not doable for the flowers I was picking and she also said they may not get to it today and might have to come back tomorrow. As I was leaving another woman working said if I could come back it would be no problem, she explained to the first woman what they can do to accomodate for same day pickup and reassured me that what I was looking for was doable which was very encouraging. Got the bouquet and dropped it off that same night. However the flowers started falling apart the very next day! I didn't find out until two days later when I visited my mom, who was very happy to have her favourite flowers in the arrangement, however, when I looked some asters were already bent and almost all the lilies were browned. I took these pictures to send in to red rose to share how their quality of flowers were unacceptable, especially paying for high end prices, and that it was the SECOND time this occurred. I got a lengthy email on how to properly take care of flowers and that it could quite possibly be the environment they were put in (even though both times were in different places). Overall just AWFUL service and poor product quality. read more

Terrible disappointing experience with unapologetic staff. Ordered an expensive bouquet 2 days prior to a 71st wedding anniversary to be delivered on the special day. My mother did not receive the bouquet until 1030 at night on the day ordered. They say they did not even send them out for delivery until 5 or 6 that night... apparently their usual time to deliver flowers because they state they have more important deliveries to make during regular working hours. They also have the gall to tell you that people don't want their bouquets until late in the day. How were they to even know that this was going to an elderly couple...they were only celebrating their 71st wedding anniversary! Apparently, one is expected to specify if you want flowers delivered before midnight. Go somewhere else..... where they care. read more

Ordered online and in the "Delivery Instructions" section I had put to please deliver after 3pm. The order was delivered at about 10:30am I understand that things don't always work but I would have appreciated a heads up. In the end it worked out, but it did take a lot of the "surprise" element out of the day by being delivered in the morning. Would use again, but not if the details need to be 100%. read more

I bought a large glass vase this May to go with some lucky bamboo that I arranged, chose a spot for and did not touch afterwards. I was happy until just a few months later the vase started leaking, the bottom was cracked and a few days later the cracks kept moving up the sides. Today, I took the empty vase back to the shop and told the young woman sitting behind the counter what had happened. I did not ask her for anything as I did not have a receipt, I told her I only wanted to warn other people of the poor quality of the glass she was selling. She just looked at me, catatonic. Sad! Ordered flowers on Mother's Day, and several days in advance I might add. The delivery never arrived, however they called my mom instead of me and left a message stating that they delivered next door. Doesn't really add up because my brother happens to live next door and there wasn't a delivery there! After calling them back and telling them it wasn't next door, they proceeded to tell my mom they somehow delivered to the wrong address completely. When I called to get a refund they told me they had a driver get into an accident and they struggled with the ensuing chaos. I didn't harp on it too much because my mom got a kick out of the run around, but I probably would have been more amenable if they just said the truth the first time, whatever it may be. Mistakes happen that are out of your control, but telling the truth is completely in your control. read more

I ordered some valentines flowers for delivery on Feb 14 2013. These guys left the flowers with the neighbor and never updated the recipient with a call. They however did leave a sticker notice at the side of the door. Since the recipient has a front entrance garage, they never thought of checking the door for any notice. The flowers were later received on Feb 15 2013..... Not being able to receive the flowers on time for such a special occasional really undermines the value and trust of this vendor. I spoke to the manager, Barry, who is only available at 7 AM. He was rude and suggested it was my fault and did not provide any compensation. Reading reviews on Yelp, there are other customers who had experienced the same issue. I WILL NEVER BRING MY BUSINESS BACK HERE AGAIN. read more

I am not originally From Calgary, and the majority of my family is back in Eastern Canada, so I don't get to be with family a lot. That being said, my mom always wants to include me in holidays I can't go home for ... So she sent me flowers for Easter this year. She ordered them through Sears' flower partnership (not sure what that's called), and the order just happened to come from Red Rose Florist. Unfortunately, I wasn't home to accept the delivery, so instead I got a note. From my understanding, it said I could pick up the flowers from the shop, and the order number was written under it. I called the next day (a holiday) and found out they were open until 6. Great! Even though it was across town, it just so happened that I'd be in the neighbourhood anyway, so it worked out ... But I had misread the card. And I should have asked if my delivery was there. See, that order number was actually the neighbour's house number where the delivery was left. Totally my fault ... I should have asked when I called. The lady who was at the shop felt so terrible that I had come so far (she thought the card was vague at best) that she gave me a very nice box of chocolates and said she'd ask the delivery person to be more specific next time. I protested (seriously: I should have asked if it was there) but she was very sweet and insisted. So now: I have my flowers and my chocolates. In summary: I don't get flowers often these days but the service I got from this florist was a very pleasant experience. (If I got flowers more at home, I could probably give more stars ... I bought mum flowers for Mother's Day from their online store. The flowers were delivered the day I ordered (although late in the evening which is why I deducted a star). Mum says they smell great and from the picture they look lovely. Yes it's pretty expensive but after hours of searching local florists I found they're all very similar in price. Delivery was included in the price. Just order the day before in case you get a late delivery like I had. That way the flowers are there for the whole day of the occasion to enjoy. I don't write many reviews, or leave feedback very often for businesses. However, I have to say that I had a wonderful experience with Red Rose Florist this morning. I had a terrible experience ordering funeral flowers through 1-800-Flowers. Just terrible. So, I decided to call a local florist who was located near the funeral home. (For context, I am in the U.S. and was ordering flowers for a funeral in Calgary, AB, Canada). I found an arrangement that I liked on the Red Rose Florist website and called the number. The woman I spoke with, Janna, was incredibly helpful and so kind. The process of ordering flowers for the funeral was so easy that I thought I didn't give her enough information. She said she would call the funeral home on my behalf and arrange the delivery so that the flowers would be there before the service started. The final moments on the phone with Janna were so touching, as she expressed sincere sympathy for my loss. I was overcome with emotion, and so appreciative that she acknowledged my pain. September 17 was my wedding, and I went to red rose about a year before my wedding.. I changed my mind about 3 or 4 times for so many stuff like my bouquet, centerpieces, church flowers. And everytime I go they were very nice... Until I knew exactly what I wanted. Janna was helping me throughout the year she was very very nice she took so much of her time to meet me like 4 times to make sure Im happy with what I want.. 1 week before the wedding I called red rose to ask Janna a question and I was told that she went on vaccation. I was very stressed.. But the wedding was exactly what Janna and me talked about she made sure that everything is perfect like she did it herself. The flowers on the wedding were amazing everything was exactly like I wanted it... The bridesmaids bouquets were gorgeous. The church flowers very simple but very beautiful (like I asked for)... I had bird cages for centerpieces and the flowers were very exotic and full of life, very creative and had all different yet similar and amazing designs. read more

I wish I had looked at this website before ordering. If you display an actual clock on your website showing how much time is available for "same day" orders.. then you should make sure that order is delivered on that day. IF you cannot complete the order in the time promised -- a phone call or email should be made to allow that person to go elsewhere or agree to the delivery time. IF ALL OF THE ABOVE isn't done and the customer reaches out to you to find out if the order was ever delivered - RESPOND to the email to see if the person would still like that order completed. DO NOT just decide to complete the order and send it out with zero response or apology. Just a few areas of improvement ideas. People are generally accepting of issues if you openly communicate them. Laura was the one we dealt with and was joy to work with, always flexible and designed the most amazing flowers for our head table, guest tables, and the gift table. Avoid this place! Three strikes and you're out in my books! Strike one - Ordered an arrangement for my wife's birthday a week prior and it was delivered at 9:45pm on her birthday! Strike two - Ordered a huge arrangement, corsages and boutonnière for my daughters graduation and the flowers were spray painted and did not last the day! Strike three - Ordered Valentines flowers for my wife days beforehand. On the 13th received a call from Marg (manager or owner) for a $25 Delivery surcharge. At this point I have no option so I accept. Request that they be delivered in the morning and they said "sure, no problem". After waiting all day, no delivery, no phone call or anything. When I called the next morning, some poor young gal answers their phone with no explanation and says she new to the company. Very poor management. Mediocre products! No customer service at all! Ordered flowers for delivery on Valentine's Day and called the shop to confirm that they had received the order - they indicated that they had. I marked the delivery for AM, as it was for a business address, and the flowers never arrived. Called several times and was placed on hold for a cumulative total of 30 minutes (several attempts were met with immediately being put on hold without so much as a greeting). Finally was able to speak to someone that seemed completely uninterested in solving the problem and made the excuse that "it's very busy." Nevertheless, she indicated that the flowers would be delivered the next day in the morning (again, not what I paid the exorbitant price for), and the flowers were not delivered the next day either. Several calls to the flower shop went completely unanswered. Do not recommend at all. FTD gives better service and they are horrible. I even created a Yelp profile just to post this. read more

Do not use this company. I paid $75 for long stem roses for my wife. They were not boxed or placed in any kind of water. It was the same bouquet that you could have bought at Safeway for half the price. If I had not come home early the flowers would have been completely wilted. Very disappointed with the service from this florist. I had friends in Ontario send me flowers, what was supposed to be a nice gesture was a lot of stress and hassle. They requested the flowers be delivered in the evening but they arrived at 2pm to my home while I was at work. I talked to the delivery man and he agreed to deliver them to my work the following day but he did not. I then had to call the florist who said the reason they were not delivered is because they were waiting on the sender to pay an additional delivery fee. I then asked them to not bother and refund my friends which they refused to do. I have had to chase them for my flowers and they did not meet the agreed upon delivery time for the third time. It is a huge inconvenience to be given an 8 hour block of time to be home for and to have to chase the florist for the flowers. Would not reccomend this florist. read more

I recently ordered a flower arrangement for a coworker who was in the hospital after major surgery. As it was being sent on behalf of our company we wanted it to be nice and to also capture the humor of the guy we were sending it to. I found an arrangement called "Dr.Chicken". I know it sounds nuts but was funny. It was supposed to be a special mug with a chicken holding a sign that said "get better, eat vegetable soup", then there were flowers in that and on top a helium balloon of the same chicken on the mug... really funky and cute. I found out that the arrangement he got was a mug with a happy face on it ( very dollar store) and flower and a Happy Face Balloon ( very Walmart). This arrangement was something that I could have thrown together. I called them to ask what had happened. The guy insisted that the Dr Chicken arrangement was really old and they hadnt had it in years. I pointed out to him that not only was it on thier website but it was also on many others throughout FTD. As well, that is exactly what was on my invoice. He said he would look into it. When he got back to me he kept telling "Well we gave you extra value, we gave you extra value to make up for it" I finally said what does extra value mean? He then said extra flowers. Quite frankly I think that is a crock, the flowers were ok, but certainly not full and Extra Value..whatever the hell he was saying.. I will never order from them again. read more

Horrible customer service, less than stellar product. Below is an e-mail I sent to Red Rose and FTD on Dec 26, 2010. Please read... Attached are two pictures. The picture with the lilies and the "centerpiece" is what you delivered. The first delivery for the worn out looking lily's in a cheap vase were dropped off at our neighbor's house. No note was left nor did we receive a phone call to let us know it was at the neighbor's house. We didn't get the flowers for two days. The second delivery of the so called centerpiece -- wrong again. The photo of the centerpiece with the white lily's and greenery is what you were supposed to deliver along with a box of chocolates. My mother purchased the floral arrangement from FTD and upgraded to "best" for $83.00 + taxes/shipping plus the cost of the chocolates. If any of the two floral arrangements you delivered are worth $83.00 the hell has frozen over. I'm sure FTD would be very interested in the quantity and quality of your arrangements. Not to mention the rude, very curt French woman whom I spoke with over the phone. She had no idea what was supposed to be delivered and cut me off several times. She even had the gall to ask me to pick up my delivery! I've received two phone messages from another woman asking what is wrong with the order. I believe it is up to you as a business owner to be proactive with FTD. It is not my responsibility to do your job to find out what is wrong. read more

I ordered a lovely bouquet (or it was supposed to be lovely) for my friend's 70th birthday. I paid over $100 for it and I expected it to be a large beautiful bouquet. It was neither. I was away at the time and when I returned home my friend sent me a picture of it and I was floored. For my friend's 60th birthday, I ordered a dozen white roses. White roses hold a special significance for her: her husband used to send them to her, it was their special flower. Sadly, he passed away in 2015, so he isn't here to celebrate this milestone with her. But I am, so I arranged it. When Red Rose Florist made a mistake and sent red roses rather than the white I ordered, they were very apologetic, completely owned the mistake and asked for the chance to make it right. They sent out the correct order of a dozen white roses along with a box of chocolates by close of business the next day. It was like my friend had TWO birthdays!
