I dropped it off on a Thursday and received no update until I called them the following Monday. They told me my car was ready to go and they had tried to call that Friday however I have no missed call or voicemail. When I picked up my car they said their technician couldn't recreate the issue and my belts are fine. Unfortunately I had to take my keys, and drop off my rental before coming back to take my car afterhours. I should have started it up when I got my keys because after returning immediately the squealing was present and only got worse after I drove. I left them a voicemail immediately asking them to call me back so we can resolve this issue. A full week has passed with no word from them. TLDR: I paid $107 for an oil change I didn't ask for, my issue was unresolved, and they need to get their ears checked because my belt is still singing!

I had a busted valve and there was a screw in the tire. Worrying that I might be stuck with a huge bill, the friendly staff explained that it would only cost $28 total to patch the flat and install a new valve. Wow. Not only was service outstanding, but the price was low and everything about my experience here went above and beyond expectation. I explained that I was on a road trip to Canada and needed the problem fixed and they gave me a great deal with no hassle or gimmicks. I just found my vehicle, 2 full weeks after the towing happened. I had a phone call with this business where I explained the situation, and that I hoped they would simply return my vehicle, due to the circumstances just now. He said, "well, you need to pay your bill first." I asked him to provide me a copy of said bill, and reiterated that my vehicle was illegally towed, repeating the laws that had broken. He told me that this was an issue with my apartment complex, and that he was busy. I again, asked for a copy of the bill, and explained the parts of the legal issues that fell squarely with the tow company. He said, well I'll have to find it, and Im busy. I asked him to please find the bill, and send it to me, and explained that I was hoping to have this straightened out without having to involve the courts, and that I was happy to send copies of the city/state statutes I was referring to. He repeated he was busy. I asked him if he had my information as to where to send the bill to, let him know my apartment number, and also offered that he could send the bill to my phone. He said that he didn't have my information, and that I should have known where my vehicle went, that he didn't have time for this, and that I needed to call him back "later" then hung up the call. This place was recommended by word of mouth, but I was cautious. They had a lackluster waiting room…read moreand iffy pricing but the customer service person was polite. I took an older ride there, that I just wanted drains and/or flushes done, I was told all types of things were wrong, the first professional car opinion did not state. I was told from the get go that draining transmission fluid was going to be much cheaper than flushing it, and was quoted about $80. Then when I refused to replace the dangerous steering rack issue, the price somehow jumped to $120, they said they made a mistake. I thought that's convenient. During this time, while waiting for pricing and diagnosis, 2 customers came in and paid their bills. Each person was forced to pay about $400-$600 (1 even asked why the price had changed). Maybe an average price per head? With the fix above plus my drains would have come to $480. I refused that "service", but it seems others were not. With all Mechanics know your car and be able to self diagnosis things like steering shakes, battery issues vs alternator, pump noises, whinny breaks. Don't be taken advantage of. Don't spend your money here. There is much better in Grand Forks, ND!
