I remember the times when there were still huge stores dedicated for Red Ribbon in Shopping Centers and Malls. Over the years, I noticed how quickly these stores disappeared. The Red Ribbon branches right now are a lot smaller and do not even compare to the old ones, however, I still consider it as one of the biggest and most popular bakeries here in the Philippines. What I really like about Red Ribbon is the quality and flavor of their cakes. Red Ribbon is more expensive than Goldilocks, but it has better-tasting products. They are really popular for their Black Forest Cake. This cake is topped with sweet and fresh cherries. It has three layers of chocolate-y goodness, all covered in a thick, fluffy white cream. The edges of the cake are decorated with chocolate shavings that literally melts in your mouth. It also has a little kick, which came from the red wine.
