I feel a little bad for this oft overlooked little cafe. It seems to always be a sleepy spot, with not much going on. Maybe it's the location? The food? But when I decided to finally check it out, I realized that it's perfectly fine! The inside of the cafe actually looks very nice. Clean lines all over, cute wall art and design, well-lit, spacious, and pretty comfortable. And they serve a whole bunch of meals like pastas, sandwiches, and rice dishes, plus there's a bakery that offers cakes, cupcakes, breads, etc. That's a pretty big undertaking if you're not confident of your business. It turns out the place actually does have a steady following, and a lot do know of "that tucked away cafe along Marcos Highway." The food's not bad at all and they have big servings, although ironically, you'll want to have the meals rather than the baked goods (a little so-so). It just might be a little expensive for what it is. On weekends, that's when they get full because people seem to like hanging out here before they head home in one of the many subdivisions along Marcos Highway (so in that sense, it's apparently a prime location after all). Never judge a book by its cover! At least, don't always. Lol. read more
