We've had a genuinely positive experience in the classroom. However, our experience with the admissions and re-admissions process has been deeply concerning. While I understand that, as a private institution, the school has the right to make its own enrollment decisions, the process felt inconsistent and, at times, lacking in integrity. More importantly, I believe the way it is handled can have a significant emotional impact on children and families. Because of this, I am unable to rate the school highly overall. I was disappointed when my child came home telling me of a "new" song the class was learning...wait for it...."yankee doodle", I feel like the staff is dumbing down the students by offering the very basic of basics. My child was a straight High A student for years but has grown bored with the outdated teaching and curriculums. My inlaw was a special ed teacher for 35 years and her comment about the coursework is " VERY low level materials" i.e. yankee doodle , 3rd grade music class?, Maybe i'm biased but i remember learning "Scarborough Fair" and many other songs in music. my child sings Josh Groban, Andrea Bocelli and others at home. I get a sense of everything here being depressed, outdated and in extreme lack. We will be looking for another school. I'm sure they mean well but the LACK of STEM material is a big one for me. I see no "excellence" in their work.

Year 2 with new coach Richie Alfred we not only had a winning season but went to the playoffs. This year we are undefeated in district and with a few games left we are on the verge of being undefeated in district. Richie is not only an excellent coach but an even better person and leader for my boys. I am very happy and thankful for the direction on this school as well as the athletic opportunities .
