From the…read moremoment I picked up the phone and called Cray, and Angie Rollman answered , I knew I had made a great choice and I and my computer would be in good hands! Angie patiently responded to all my questions. After we discussed my needs, she was able to give me an estimated cost and explained the way they charge for their computer network services. I really appreciated the fact that although they have an hourly rate, they charge in 15 minute increments based on the actual physical work done. Angie assured me that the services I was requesting generally took a short amount of time. However, if the charges were going to be more than $150 she would call me before proceeding. Although they don't keep a lot of stock items that customers can purchase, Angie checked and they had the perfect 16GB Flash drive. I had wanted all the pictures to be available on one Flash drive and it had enough space to do that. This saved me a trip to another store. I was also very impressed that they would consider doing such a small job as I know much of their customer base is businesses. So here's my situation: We have a Dell Laptop that we no longer use. It's heavy, and needs a battery- but still works well with the power cord. I had tried but was unsuccessful in getting the pictures out of the laptop on my own. I also wanted to have the laptop wiped professionally. The plan is to give the laptop to a young man in 9th grade, as the school felt it would be helpful for him to have a computer to assist with his homework etc. I didn't want him to have to cull through everything we had on the computer. I wanted him to feel from the time that he opens the laptop that he can personalize it. Cray Networks also updated Windows, which took about 6 hours. Angie had said they don't charge to monitor a system once they set it to do something on its own, like updates, so no matter how long a download or upload takes there is NO additional charge (unless the technician has to go back in and put hands on it for another issue). Cray used to be located in Austin and the privately owned business did quite well there. Based on the great customer service it wouldn't surprise me if the majority of their business came over to their new location. The owner lived in Leander, so decided to relocate to his home town. The shop is centrally located and right off Bagdad Road. From Crystal Falls head South on Bagdad. As you approach the business, you will see a very steep driveway, then a little brick wall in front of the shop which sits on a corner lot, so you proceed on to Castlewood Court, (the street just past the shop), turn right, and to your immediate right you will see parking behind the business. (since I am directionally challenged, I tapped into Angie for help finding my way) I received the great customer service that she renders! And guess what??? The exceptional customer service is pervasive...When I picked up the laptop, Angie didn't happen to be available so a gentleman (sorry I did not get his name) assisted me. He retrieved the laptop along with the Flash-drive and power cord. He reviewed the bill with me and it was as expected. $75 + 16GB Flash-drive. I would highly recommend Cray Network. They accept projects big and small, do a great job at a fair price and have a awesome team who pride themselves on quality customer service!

I have tried to remember how long these kept coming in before putting two and two together. So, one night I'm curious as to where my online results pop up when searching keywords such as "tree service Corpus Christi", or "Corpus Christi tree removal" etc. My phone number popped up first thing(on Google). There was my phone number in hyperlink connected to a .com named corpuschristitreeservice.com which I had never heard of before. What????? I opened the page and saw a familiar website of a competitor in town. It had the owner of that companies picture on the front page and all of his content. everything was identical except it had my phone number and said Corpus Christi Tree Service, by "The Tree Amigos". I was shocked and called my tech friend and asked him what he thought and explained to him that I had never met anybody, talked to anybody, had an agreement with anybody, signed anything, or had any clue how this website with my number had been developed. The first thing I did was call my competitor on his personal cell phone and explained my bizarre discovery to him and explained that it had his content and achievements etc. I promised him I had no knowledge of this and had no intentions of copying his website. He said he didn't care because he had recently shut his business down and said If I was getting business from it and wasn't paying for it to just go with it. That's when I started putting two and two together. I had been getting those calls for about a month regarding the Corpus Christi Tree Service before finding the website, which by the way was top result on Google. This free website was up and I kept answering to people on the behalf of my actual business The Tree amigos and my unintentionally inherited business now, Corpus Christi Tree Service. This went on for probably 6 months before I got a call from an Austin number. It was a Gentleman from a company called Local Leads Now LLC which I immediately knew was responsible for the website creation due to the fact that it is at the bottom of my page in small text. He explained to me that because their past relationship with a local tree business had been brought to an end by the means of closing down as I have previously mentioned, they were looking to establish a new relationship with a tree company in the Corpus Christi area. He explained to me that what had been going on the last 6 months was a free trial for me to see the success rate of their company and that I in no way owed them a penny. That if I was interested in continuing with the website, they would offer it to me for a certain amount(happens to be a fraction of what I'm spending on my large phone book ad) All I can attest to is this, I am paying a fraction of what I currently pay for my phone book/internet service with a company I would rather not name. My result placement is number 1 with Local Leads Now LLC, and it has been a true blessing thus far that they randomly selected me for the trial. My work load probably doubled this passed year which has a lot to do with return business but here has been a lot of new creation as well. I have only been with Leads Now LLC for about 7 or 8 months now since I payed for a year and it was probably a year ago when I discovered the surprise website. I can not say that they have been doing me right for years. I can not say that they have burned me. All I can say is that I pay a very small price for a great deal of success and so far I have told a lot of friends about my experience and that bang for buck, Local Leads Now LLC has been unbelievably beneficial to me. We shall see what the future holds and hopefully I don't have the same experience as some others have mentioned but it's not like they can really mess me up. Worst thing they can do is try to jack up my rates next year. I shall see. The whole copying website thing seemed kind of shady. You decide. I think the only reason they did it that way was because it was any easy template and the the competitor who had gone out of business had conveyed to them that they in fact were going to shut down and didn't mind about the content which admittedly I still leave up. After evaluating my relationship with Peter I realized that he taught me way more about marketing than he ever took from me and today Even though he tried to minupulate my google listing to his advantage by keeping it live with his web site for several years after he stopped working with me I worked with google and managed to get back in control of it. He still has videos he has posted and has never edit with my name not included. He tried fr several years to maintain what he built and sell the leads to other contractors but could not do so because most of them no me in DFW. I realized what it was I went wrong with him,I got excited about him putting 100s of web sites up in dfw for me and I thought he was working really hard so some how I owed him but in reality i found the software he uses and it takes 10 minutes to create another site for his networxs. I respect his decision to stop working with me as I could not afford his service he increased my bill by doulbe over a 2 year mark. And he could do much better with out me financially and he did not need me any longer. I will never let go of my experience with local leads now and he shaped me in to the company that I am on line today. He taught me how to stand up for my self on the internet and stop letting marketers take advantage of me. I gave him control of my map address which made me a fool today and a smart company tommorow. However all those back links all those so called hard earned money I spent on local leads now is not wasted. today I am doing exactly what he did and build my own presence on line.
