Food was generous and excellent! My husband and I agreed that the burrito was the best we ever have had (and we've had quite a few over the years!) My brother enjoyed his breakfast sandwich. The waitress gave me two pieces of pie but only charged for one because she thought it might be too little (seemed like a regular size to me.) Great little diner! This appears to be a chain of coffee shops in at least the Williston and Watford City area…read more The coffee shops themselves are well decorated. The interior is fully furnished and there is trendy decor all through out the shoppe, really tying the space together The menu offers all the classic coffee drink options as well as plenty of signature drinks. There's also a variety of breakfast finger food options available for purchase, as well as snacks to choose from. They also have daily/weekly drink specials (limited offers). They are also accommodating if you want less pumps of syrup or if you want to mix flavors The staff were very helpful and efficient. You can order both inside or you can use the drive-thru. The staff might appear busy running around working on orders, but they are also very friendly and professional baristas Some tips: If you want a hot drink the biggest size you can order is a 20oz. If you go the iced option you can go up to a 32oz. I love coconut lattes, and I saw one signature drink had coconut. I asked them if they could make a simple coconut latte with half the normal pumps, and they hooked it up Cheers!!

Gramma Sharron's is a perfectly decent diner…read more We came here after Williston High School's graduation ceremony. It was late on a Sunday afternoon and there weren't that many customers. Service was friendly, knowledgeable and responsive. Maybe the best part was the three painted and decorated cow sculptures out front. They reminded of several years back when decorated pigs were sprinkled throughout downtown Seattle. We came here for a late lunch, but noticed that they had a Sunday buffet for $18.95 that goes until 2pm. You can't beat that price for a buffet. So our table ordered cheeseburgers, biscuits and gravy, the all-you-can-eat salad bar, walleye salmon and the hamburger steak dinner. A note about the walleye salmon. This fish is actually a perch and exists in local water bodies around here. Everything was very good with the possible exception of the gravy on the biscuits. My nephew noted that something tasted weird in the gravy. I suspected it was nutmeg that my nephew was tasting. I sampled the gravy, and sure enough, it had been strongly spiced with nutmeg. Also, the walleye salmon (perch) had a bit of a fishy flavor, though the sandwich it came in was fine otherwise. I though the fish portion looked a bit svelte. The hamburger steak dinner, which included the onions & mushroom add-on was excellent. The brown gravy was delicious. We'd definitely come back.

I will say that many of the booths are torn up, and the space isn't exactly immaculate. Also, there was a strange and unappetizing smell upon entry that seemed to get worse while waiting for our food The menu is extensive and a little confusing. There are a few different menus along the wall and there appear to be sand which, wrap, salad, burgers, and other options. There are many signature dishes to try. You can get your order on a white baguette, a wheat baguette, a flour tortilla, a spinach tortilla, or on ciabatta The service was fine. The person who took our order also delivered the food to us. I ordered my meal as a wrap but I was given it on a white bread baguette. The staff wasn't overly friendly or helpful Some tips: You can make your meal a combo and get chips or fries and a drink. They also have cookie options and I'm not sure if you can substitute chips for that. I asked if I could sub my drink for a cookie and I was told no. The baguettes have so much bread when compared to the rest of the sandwich. I wish there was more meat and less bread. Then again, I ordered a wrap and got bread instead lol Cheers!!

Just ordered water for drinks but the coffee smelled great and the wait staff walked around with the coffee pot to refill cups. They had specials posted on the board behind the counter which sounded really good. Will have to go back. It appeared like a lot of locals were eating there. I always get the biscuits and gravy and add something else like eggs and hash browns. I noticed today they have the Biscuit Barge which includes biscuits and gravy, hash browns, a sausage patty and two scrambled eggs and was perfect! The gravy is creamy and savory and the hash browns just the right amount of crisp. Combined with two scrambled eggs and fresh biscuits and you got yourself a meal. The ambiance is what you would expect from a small town diner, including warm hospitality and a slew of regulars filling the room with tales of the simple life, clanging dishes, and laughter. Final comments include the excellent service received. Three servers worked the room, like they were working, a cattle drive or something, each covering the other, anticipating the need for coffee refresh, and while doing this clearly having a good time. Highly recommend Sonny's and look forward to coming back, and perhaps branching off of my standard biscuits and gravy and venturing into one of the delicious looking omelettes or one of the Mexican breakfast offerings.
