Down to earth, accommodating, and personable. We got the nachos, which were decent, and split the two-piece fish and chips. I was impressed with the latter dish, as the portion was very generous and the fish was crispy without being too oily, plus the fries had an interesting sweet and salty spice. The winner winner chicken dinner was the Old Fashioned, which might have been the best I've had in Louisville. Classy glass, stirring stick, luxardo cherries, and a big honking rock of ice. The drink was smooth and balanced, and I totally broke my rule of only having one (and paid for it the next day). It's quirky and cozy inside, and I'd definitely come back for a chill hang night with friends.

The burger was large juicy and dripping with delicious sauce, topped crunchy onions and fried pickles. The nachos were loaded with tasty pulled pork, cheese, black olives, tomatoes and jalapeno and good to the last bite. The fries had a sweet tangy rub and were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. We will be back to try other things on their extensive menu.

The food arrived and my pizza was as ordered. It was customized to be an imposter margarita pizza. They absolutely nailed it. My girlfriend got her sandwich and ended up taking some home to save it for later! And for, what I think is the best root-beer know to mankind itself, just blew me away. I bought a growler (64oz) to take home! Thank you new NABC for making a new choice for dinner into a restaurant that will have my business forever!

They cannot produce hot water without running it through their coffee machine, which makes it taste like coffee. The Kase (similar to queso) is basically yellow water. Devoid of flavor; it does not cling well to the stale chips or pretzel bites. The 10 topping pizza we ordered had all 10 toppings, but only one or two of each. The crust on the deep dish cannot hold up to the weight of the pizza. The service was fine. The restaurant furniture needs an upgrade. Everything feels icky. Even the soap in the wash room appeared watered down. I do not recommend. I will not be back.

The staff there are always so incredibly welcoming and the vibe is absolutely chill. O'Sheas makes for a great place to take friends or family with lots of various places to sit and have a delicious beer from their selection or bar food. On this trip I decided to try the Tavern Smash Burger (American Cheese, Caramelized Onions, Pickle, Tarter sauce on a potato bun) and for an appetizer I went with their Guinness Beer Cheese that comes with a very nice sized pretzel loaf which I've never had before. The food was extremely tasty and definitely items I would order again. It's counter service here so expect to order your food and pay for it right away at the counter (unless you want to keep a tab open if you plan on drinking) It's a pretty chill place and it too loud or noisy at least not on this evening. It I could imagine that would change if there is a game on at the moment which I'd expect. I absolutely recommend if you're looking for a great place that has very delicious bar food with a very helpful and friendly staff that you should make it a point to stop at O'Shea's.

We can't believe it took us this long to discover Pearl Street Taphouse. Although it's been around,…read moretonight was our family's first visit--and it absolutely will not be our last. There were six of us, and every single person at the table was genuinely thrilled with their meal. The food was outstanding across the board--fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care--and the prices were very reasonable for the quality and portions. We also enjoyed the drinks--a cider and a chocolate stout--both of which were excellent. It's rare to find a place where everyone walks away happy, but Pearl Street Taphouse managed it effortlessly. The unanimous decision before we even left was to meet back there again next week for dinner. That alone says everything. Highly recommend this local gem--we're already looking forward to our next visit.

A group of four that arrived after us was served, and left before our waitress brought our food. Our waitress was pleasant enough, but she was a ghost - we rarely saw her. Even water was slow to arrive. One man in our party went to his car to get his own water bottle. The fish nuggets in the fish and chips were not done. Potato salad had little flavor. The huge pretzel was a hit, but not much else. Too bad. We had high hopes. Addendum: the owner's response is basically the same excuse she's repeated to nearly every less than good review. 1,) I wish I'd read reviews first, 2,) they should actually work on improving food and process rather than making excuses if they don't want to close the doors.
